Ace: It was on in full swing. The final fight, for humanity, against a large beast. I kept firing my weapons wherever I could, whenever I could, while dodging Jerry's attack. I kept shooting my guns as much as I could. Ranger also then burst out of the rubble.
"Get him, Ace!" said Ranger. "Don't let him overpower you."
"Good to have you still alive!" I told my boss. "Let's take him together!"
"Let's do it!" said Ranger.
Ranger also began blasting his weapon at Jerry, Jerry then seemed to get weaker and signaled for reinforcements. Several mutants came into play. His backup was quite large. We continued to fire. No sooner did the reinforcements arrive to attack us that Ross came into action with backup for us. I was appalled, all the citizens of Vertigo Town and Jordan City.
"Full speed ahead, everyone!" I shouted. "Fire for humanity, for justice and for..."
"FREEDOM!" said the people, as they finished what I wanted to say.
We kept firing our weapons at the mutants and at the leader himself, and kept at it, until the army finally seemed to collapse. Then I looked at the Mutant Jerry, he collapsed. Suddenly, he began to glow and vibrate, and we knew it wasn't good.
"RUN!" I shouted.
We then ran away from him, getting far and clear as much as we could. Then Jerry exploded. His head popped off and fell forth towards us. The rest of his body exploded, and the parts just flew all over the place. Aurora then floated down and the bubble around her faded away. She began to move as she regained consciousness. Her eyes opened and she looked around her until she saw me. Upon recognizing me and everyone she smiled.
"Austin!" exclaimed Aurora in excitement.
"Julia! You're okay!" I exclaimed in reciprocation.
"Last time I recall, I was being abducted?" said Aurora in confusion.
"There, there!" I said to her as I hugged her. "It's okay! Let's get out of here."
"Well done, Ace!" said Wheeler. "I think you've done more than just save us. You've given all of us a new hope."
"Thanks, Ranger!" I then spoke to my boss. "This wasn't an easy feat."
"Well, after all this, I think it's fair to say, I'd like to announce my retirement from the Armed Forces, go back to living a civilian life." Ranger spoke with all seriousness.
"You sure?" I asked. "What are you implying?"
"We lost forty-two years in hibernation, although we didn't age a bit, but I'd rather not do this anymore." Ranger responded with sincerity.
"It doesn't end there!" Wheeler said. "Election seasons for the new mayor are around the corner. I think I know who'd make a good replacement."
"Me?" asked Ranger. "I've never ran for office before."
"I'm sure you're up to the task!" said Ross. "I agree with Wheeler!"
"Guess we better find our purpose as well!" I spoke. "I can't be unemployed, so I'd still stay on with the Space Force! Although I can still help at Shelley's underground sanctum."
"That sounds all right to me!" said Shelley. "We could use you!"
"I need to find something too!" said Aurora. "Although, I'm sure y'all may need a new mechanic!"
"That's fair!" said Javier. "We'll need one, now that Jerry is no more."
