(Chapters 15. 16. & 17 are in my drafts I may or may not publish so don't mind skipping those they're not important. Continuation in Chapter 18)

An angel's lamentation of wanting to be human. A demon's lament of not being human.

Emptiness.

That's what he felt.

The feeling of nothingness resided deeply within his heart.

That deep dark void drawing away all feelings and emotions...

Leaving him empty inside.

Rigel didn't see a point in anything anymore.

Why was he even here existing in this cruel wretched world?

Numb is what Rigel feels.

It was slowly consuming him.

His crippling unwanted thoughts.

He was drowning in an abyss of his own unhappiness created by no one other than his very own self.

Rigel just wanted to disappear.

To be nothing but a speck of dust and to fade away forever if it meant his brother Orion could start over, to reverse everything that happened to him.

He would give him his wings without hesitation in a heartbeat.

Rigel also wanted to know what it felt like to love another being.

He loved Cassiopeia who was another archangel.

Her beauty and pureness was indescribable.

Cassiopeia was so strong and divine, with the darkest of ebony skin which glittered with stunning snowy white long curly hair.

Her eyes were rainbow colored, each changing color with the emotions she felt.

She was one of God's greatest warriors.

The holy sword of divinity in which Cassiopeia wielded was one of the purest celestial gold, striking down all evil in her path.

The archangel was unstoppable.

When she smiled, the world brightened with illuminance from how captivatingly beautiful she was.

Cassiopeia was unreal and captured the hearts of many, being one of the most alluring angels who ever existed.

Her voice was like the sweetest melody.

If you heard her sing, you would be blessed.

Cassiopeia was just a blessing to be around.
