"Guys I'm so sorry about this but... I really need to go to the bathroom. I'll be quick like super fast please don't leave without me!"
Esther has never felt so embarrassed in her life, but if she happened to have an accident in the middle of the war that would be even worse. Much worse. Orion was still ignoring her and refused to even look at Esther. Silent treatment, I see. Gonna treat me like I don't exist? K. He marched right out her door, but was stopped by his brother Rigel who pulled him back. Cassiopeia's eyes softened with understanding. "Of course you may Esther. Go ahead." At least angels seemed to understand basic human needs. It was such a hassle being human at a time like this. Esther wondered how characters in stories even used the bathroom or did their daily necessities at all. She barely had any time and now the world was coming to an end already! Esther ran to the bathroom as fast as she could and didn't even bother to lock the door since angels are well mannered unlike her own humankind.
"Let's leave. She can't come with us." Orion said in a low voice. Rigel looked at his brother sympathetically. "I know how you feel brother, but God has a purpose for her I know it.
Esther wouldn't be involved in all this if she didn't have a role in stopping Achernar.""He's right Orion. You must realize this by now." Cassiopeia unshielded some of the weapons in her belt and took out a few daggers from her boots, laying them all on a nearby table.
Esther came out from the bathroom. "Okay guys let's go." She had something on her eyes which made the angels stare at her confused. "That was quick." Rigel smiled at her. "Of course I'm quick! I'm not letting you all leave without me, especially not when you guys are going to fight a war. I want in. I've got a plan on how to find Achernar's weakness." Esther smiled triumphantly, seeming proud of herself.
"I like your fearlessness Esther. You will make a great warrior. Take these. They will protect you." Cassiopeia led Esther to the weapons she put out for the girl. "Don't you need these though?" Esther picked up one of the blessed daggers which shined with such brilliance. "I have more of these. My main weapon is my holy sword of divinity. You take these. You're going to need it." Esther's eyes widened as if she were receiving candy. "All? Are you sure? Wow you have a lot of weapons that's so cool! You're like a badass goddess."
Cassiopeia and Rigel exchanged glances with each other and laughed quietly. Orion was still glowering near the doorway, tapping his foot impatiently with crossed arms.
