- I Am Become Death

Hope awoke the next day groaning rolling over on her side placing her head on Lexa's chest who ran her fingers through her long hair looking at her with nothing but love and adoration in her eyes only for the auburn haired girl to let out a sigh as she looked up at lexa and inquired, " I was so worried about you when everything didn't go as planned on the bridge I couldn't find you..." Lexa smiled leaning down to press a kiss to her forehead, " I was fine. I think you're forgetting I can protect myself."

" I know... it's just I really thought that we would be able to come to some kind of agreement between our people. I'm just so tired of the fighting and the killing when is it ever going to stop" Hope breathed out entwining her fingers with Lexa's, " I don't wanna leave this bed. Ever" Lexa chuckled in amusement staring down at the girl in her arms moving her hand up and down her back, " I wish that were the answer but we're going to have to face reality soon"

Hope let out a sigh as she sat up properly turning to face Lexa with a knowing look on her face as she raised her brows and questioned , " there's something on your mind what's up?" Lexa stayed silent for a moment before sitting up herself grabbing Hope's hands in her own, " I don't really know the words to express how much I appreciate everything you've done for me and my people but I don't want to be a burden to you." Hope shook her head with a confused look on her face and firmly told her, " you are not a burden and even if you were I can handle it. You mean everything to me"

"And you mean everything to me but maybe that's the problem. We're both going to be on different sides in this war and I don't want to come between you and your friends because one day you're going to have to choose and I don't want you to do that which is why we can't be everything to each other" Lexa trailed off pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear but Hope licked her lips with a shake of her head as she wasn't going to choice between the girl she's falling for and her friends, " I don't care as long as I have you"

"That's the thing Hope you will always have me so maybe worry about having me a little less and having everyone else more. I'm always right and there is enough of Hope Fairchild to go around" Lexa teased causing Hope to let out a laugh before she leaned in connecting their lips together, " you're too perfect" Hope whispered against her lips only for Lexa to smile cupping the auburn haired cheeks, " it's because of you. I used to have a wall built up thinking that love was a weakness but then I met you and everything changed. You are full of light, you're beautiful and selfless and would do anything for the people you care about"

Hope smiled pressing another kiss to Lexa lips before she pulled away with a small sigh, " if I'm going to take your advice then I'm going have to go back to camp the sun is almost up and if Clarke and Bellamy find out I've snuck out of camp again I won't hear the end of it I'm already on bad terms with them after what happened on the bridge and how they have forbid me from leaving unless either one of them is with me" Lexa couldn't help the smile on her lips as she stared at Hope watching her climb out of the bed grabbed her jacket from the ground, " hmm, and you still came here anyway"
