After Clarke had killed Finn, she was taken to one of Lexa tent causing Hope to make her way towards the tent her friend was in only to see two grounders guarding the entrance, " let me pass" the two grounders shared a look allowing the auburn haired girl inside knowing that she was Lexa's and if anything were to happen to her Lexa would have their heads for touching a hair on Hope's head. Hope had a sympathetic look on her face at the sight of Clarke who was sobbing trying to wipe the blood from her hands as Hope rushed towards her grabbing the rag from her hands trying to help her clean her hands from all the blood.
" I had to, Hope. I couldn't let them torture him" Clarke trailed off shaking her head with tears flowing down her cheeks as Hope nodded her head in confirmation knowing she did this so Finn wouldn't have to suffer, " I know. You did what you had to do so Finn wouldn't suffer and that the truce between our people and the grounders wouldn't be threatened" Clarke shook her head frantically wrapping her arms around Hope as she cried into her neck, " I killed him. He's dead because of me"
"Clarke, listen to me" Hope spoke softly cupping the blonde girl face in her hand forcing her to look into her eyes, " you did what you had to do to save your people. I blamed myself for my father's death for years and started pushing everyone away but the truth is it's gonna hurt it always will. Somedays will be harder than others but eventually you'll remember the good times you had with Finn. Hold onto those because it's the key to getting through this"
Clarke eyes softened as she stared at the auburn haired girl before wrapping her arms tightly around the girl when Kane and Abby walked into the tent only for Hope to let go of the girl as Abby fussed over her daughter when the flap of the tent opened once again as a grounder walked in and informed, " The Commander is ready to talk" Clarke wiped her tears from her face standing up as Lexa walked into the tent with Indra following behind her.
Lexa sat on her throne as she looked around at everyone gathered in the tent before she started to speak, " blood has answered blood. Some on my side say that's not enough, they wanted the murderer to suffer as our traditions demands" she turned her gaze towards Clarke, " but they do not know that you're suffering will be worse. What you did tonight will haunt you until the end of your days" her eyes soften as she moved her gaze towards Hope, " still, there will be restitution, the body will be given to Tondc, murderer and murdered joined by fire. Only then can we have peace"
"No, no, we've done enough the boy should be buried by his own people" Kane trailed off only for Indra to cut him off sending him a glare and hissed, " enough? We were owed the pain of 18 deaths, we were owed the righteous kill, my village deserves justice" Abby scoffed folding her arms across her chest and corrected, "you don't want justice you want vengeance" Indra stepped forward with a harsh glare as she looked at the older women and hissed, " you have not seen my vengeance"
"Enough" Hope loudly spoke making everyone go quiet as they turned to face the auburn haired girl who had enough of everyone arguing among themselves, " We will do it. You're people deserve to say goodbye just as our people want to do for Finn even after everything he had done" Clarke stayed silent for a moment as she glanced at Hope before nodding her need in agreement, " but when it's over, we talk about getting our people out of Mount Weather. All of our people"
