Hope woke up before everyone else when the sun began to rise she quietly made her way out of her tent without waking up Octavia before she made her way to the cave where she and Lexa stayed in until the acid fog had passed. Lexa was stood outside of the cave training on a practice dummy when Hope approached her folding her arms across her chest, " So this is what you do when you're not wondering around in the woods alone?"

Lexa was startled slightly by the auburn haired girl presence as she spun around her green eyes locking with Hope's bright blue ones, " You got my message, I didn't know if you would come or not" Hope shrugged her shoulders taking a step closer to Lexa, " I was curious on why you wanted me to meet you here" she then tilted her head to the side with a look of confusion on her face and questioned, " why are you so interested in me?"

"In truth?" Lexa asked as she continued to stare at Hope only for the auburn haired girl to roll her eyes in response, " No, lie to me" she sarcastically said causing Lexa lips to tug up in an amused smile, " okay" the grounder nodded with a smile, " firstly, you're from the sky which should probably be impossible but it's not... here you are. I'm interested in you because you're the most interesting" she revealed with a blush on her cheeks.

Hope nodded her head slowly in agreement, " Hmm, how about this. I tell you all about me but only if you do the same. Sure, you told me about your people but I don't know a single thing about you" Lexa sighed looking at the auburn haired girl for a moment before nodding her head in agreement, " from what I understand, ninety seven years ago a nuclear apocalypse killed everyone on earth. There were survivors that survived the nuclear apocalypse. Twelve nations had operational space stations at the time of the bombs. Its what we called the Ark, one station forged from the many"

" my people were told that Earth needed another hundred years give or take to become survivable again" Hope continued as she sat on the ground next to Lexa, " we would of then be able to go home, back to the ground. The Ark is dying due to population so sending a hundred teenagers who were arrested gave them more time. At least around three to four months. My father was one of the engineers who discovered the flaw. He thought that the people had the right to know, the council disagreed but he was going to expose the truth anyway when Wells told his father who is the chancellor and then he murdered my father"

"They murdered him just for that?" Lexa questioned with a surprised look on her face only for Hope to nod her head in confirmation, " you mentioned that every single one of you that came down here was arrested. What were you locked up for?" Hope hesitated as she glanced over at Lexa and informed, " on the Ark, every crime, no matter how small, is punishable by death. Unless you're under eighteen and then we get reviewed but it's very unlikely they let anyone who committed a crime come out of it alive. I had this boyfriend he was training to be a guard... At first he was sweet and kind but then he just snapped he attacked me out of nowhere my best friend saved my life but it cost her hers. I got arrested for murdering them both... I would of never harmed her...Beth she was like a sister to me"
