"you look great, too"
i say, lifting my head up after keeping it down and smiling up at him. as i look up at him i notice his eyes weren't meeting mine, but instead my chest. i felt my face grow red as i realise what he's looking at. his eyes linger on my b**bs for an unusual amount of time before they travel back up to my eyes.
"what?"
i can't help but smirk at the fact that my body has the power to make a man forget what he's hearing. this is my chance to flirt with him.
"you look great. the shirt suits you" i say, an innocent smile on my face
i watch as his face grows slightly red due to the words leaving my mouth. i just love when men blush. i'm not sure why he was though? he was so popular, there's probably so many girls who have already told him this.
"thank you, i thought you might like it"
he picked it out for me?
"well i do."
he smirks at me again as silence lingers in the air.
"want me to show you around a bit?" he asks
we walk side by side around the house as he greets each and every person he sees, who either daps him up or flirts with him, then shoots me a disgusted face, well at least the people i knew. the boys i knew looked shocked to see me, and the girls i knew looked disgusted to see me. as if i had taken their prized man or something. either way, it didn't sit right with me.
we made our way onto the second floor. where a balcony onto the first floor was, as well as a large sitting area that consisted of a few chairs and a table, that was now filled to the brim with people and empty bottles. despite the chaos around us, he showed me around in such a gentle manner. it almost felt as if he were an estate agent, trying to sell me the house. he labels each bedroom, and knocks on the first one before opening it to see an unusual sight.
a pair of unknown people, probably from his school, having sex on the bed.
"oh" he says, shutting the door immediately.
i look up at him as he looks down at me, before we burst into laughter
"let's not open the bedroom doors now"
he points me to the bathroom before we turn around and head to the third floor.
the way he wasn't holding me at all, but instead standing in such close proximity to me that it felt like he was holding me was so intimate. it's almost as if i was his, but also not. i just wished he put his hands around my waist or something, instead of giving other people handshakes, or leaving his hand to linger close to my hand resulting in an awkward hand touch every now and again.
we walk up the stairs up to the third floor to see a slightly smaller floor, with an open area that held a big view of the neighbourhood through the window, and yet another balcony.
"there's also another bathroom in here, and of course bathrooms in almost every bedroom"
"woahh, rich people" i say
he laughs before looking down at me, making direct eye contact
"there's more bedrooms up here, which is where i thought everyone would be doing it, but apparently they're doing it in every single room." he says, chuckling
