Flynn walks into his room at the orphanage, pulls his brown backpack off of his back, throws it in it's usual spot on the ground, and jumps onto his bed. Aladdin looks unpleased. Flynn looks at him. "What now?"

"It's your Red Bull day. Get your ass up."

Flynn frowns and furrows his eyebrows. "No way I'm going down there!"

Everyday after school the three boys would take turns going down to the basement refrigerator to get everyone a much needed Red Bull. Although none of them would ever admit it, they were all scared of the basement. The stairs creaked as they were stepped on, the only light offered is a single lightbulb at the back of the room, requiring whoever goes down to run across the room in the dark to turn it on. There were no windows, the door rarely stayed open on it's own, and everything about it screamed 'haunted.'

The boys knew that they were all afraid but never once spoke about it. They preferred to just bicker at each other about whose turn it is until someone was eventually sent down.

Aladdin walks over to his bed, reaches underneath his pillows, and pulls out a blow-up Boston Red Sox baseball bat that he had won from the fair over the summer. Flynn grins and says, "I thought Mother Willow took that away."

"I stole it back." Aladdin snaps back with a triumphant grin.

Flynn gets off the bed and reaches underneath his pillows. As he does he says, "Well guess what..." He pulls out another blow-up bat that says New York Yankees. "I stole mine back too!"

They begin their daily ritual of the Red Bull fight by hitting each other sword fight style. Every time it is Flynn's turn to get the Red Bull this happens. Depending on the kind of day Peter had, he usually either tried to stop the fight or stood on the side shouting, "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!" At the top of his lungs. Today, however was different.

Both Aladdin and Flynn stopped and looked over at Peter. They put their bats down and walked over to the boy, who was sound asleep at his desk. In front of him is a piece of paper.

Flynn reaches out his hand to grab it but Aladdin stops him by slapping his hand. "Dude!" He shouts through a whisper. "What're you doing?"

Flynn looks at Aladdin as if he is the dumbest person ever. "I'm reading the paper. Duh."

Aladdin begins to scold Flynn. "No! He stays away from our stuff! And Mother Willow only put him here so we could be good role models for him and I intend to be one!"

Flynn gives Aladdin the same look. "Yeah. You beat people with rubber baseball bats, steal them back when they're taken away, and lie to Mother Willow when she asks about them. I'm pretty sure we've blown the whole 'role model' thing already."

Flynn reaches over to pick up the paper again but, this time, Aladdin doesn't stop him. He walks over to his bed and sits down. Aladdin looks at Peter then back at Flynn, who is patting a spot on the bed next to him, inviting him over. Aladdin roles his eyes and walks over to the bed. "We're bad people."

Flynn tries to ease his conscience. "We can't help him if we don't know why he's upset. We're just being good role models."

"And how do we know he's upset?"

"He never sleeps after school, he never misses his Red Bull, and he never stays out of a baseball fight." Flynn replies, holding up his bat then throwing it back on the ground.

Aladdin says nothing as Flynn begins to read. "Hey, Wendy." He stops reading and looks at Aladdin to cock his eyebrows. Aladdin pushes him as a signal to keep reading. "I like your dress today. It looks really pretty on you. Not that you don't always wear pretty clothes but today's was a new kind of pretty. So how's your day?"

Flynn stops reading and hands it to Aladdin. "We need to teach him how to properly write a love letter."

Aladdin looks down at the paper to see light scribbles of frustration running through it. 'Poor Peter.' He thinks. He throws the letter in the floor only to notice multiple crinkled up papers in the green trash can next to Peter's desk.

On the other side of the room, Peter starts to move. Aladdin and Flynn look at each other and scream. "He's awake!" Aladdin picks up the letter and puts it back where they found it on the desk. They both pick up their bats and proceed to beat each other with them as Peter sits up.

"Oh yeah," he says. "It's Flynn's day." He starts to get up. "I seriously need a Red Bull right now so I'll be today's sacrifice."

Flynn and Aladdin stop fighting and look at each other with looks of sadness. Aladdin runs to the door and says, "Nah, bro. I've got it." He hands Peter the bat.

Before he leaves, Aladdin gives Flynn a quick look that would say, 'Do you think he noticed?' Flynn shakes his head and Aladdin runs out the door to the basement.
