Disney High

Belle

Belle walks up to the school, looks up, and reads the name. "Walt Disney High School. Where dreams come true." She sighs. "I really doubt my dreams are going to come true here." Belle had just moved into town and she knew that transitioning from small town Kansas to big city Florida was not going to be easy. She missed her family and friends from back home.

As she walks in, she bumps into a girl with blonde hair dressed in all pink. Belle drops her books and they scatter across the ground. "Watch where you're going!" The blonde shouts. Two other girls, one also blonde dressed in blue and the other with short, black hair with a red ribbon in it, trail behind her, giving Belle dirty looks as they pass. Surprise, surprise this school sucks already.

Belle bends down to pick up her books when she hears a voice. "Don't mind them. They're jerks." She looks up to see two girls. One had red hair and was wearing a purple top that said 'Under the Sea', greenish jeans, black high top converse, and a white beanie. The other had black hair pulled back into a braid and wore a turquoise, almost blue, button down with skinny jeans and, like the other, black high top converse. They were both looking at her.

"Yeah, the more you stay away from them, the happier you'll be." The one with the braid says. They bend down to help Belle pick up her books.

Once they are all picked up Belle says, "Thanks. Who were those girls?"

"'The Squad.' They think they're all that just because they date princes." The red head says.

The other one continues. "The one that bumped into you is Aurora, she's the leader, the second blonde is Cinderella, and the last one is Snow White. Just ignore them, we do."

Suddenly the red head shouts, "I'm Ariel!" The other one introduces herself as Jasmine.

"Cool. I'm Belle."

"Hey, what's your first class?" Jasmine asks.

"Ummmm..." Belle reaches into her backpack and pulls out her schedule. She unfolds it and says, "Chem with Miss Ursula."

"Oh," Ariel says, "she's tough. But we pass by her class on our way to gym. Come on, we'll show you they way." She jumps up and makes a leader pose with her fist in the air.
