Chapter 2 Part 5: A Dream In A Nightmare

On The Titan Gormott, a small town was seen sitting at the edge of the titan known as Patrichita. A Famous Town among Salvagers, as people often come here and find amazing Salvage. It's also quite isolated from the rest of the titan's population, due to being located so low on Gormott herself... Yet... Despite this Isolation, the people of Patrichita have felt the pain that comes with Mor Ardain imperialism in the country. The story of this town is a sad one... one of tragedy...

In this town, its population is seen gathered around people turned towards the Docks, watching in awe, gossiping amongst themselves.

"Come on! Hurry up!"

"I-I'm coming! Wait for me!"

The voices of two young boys were heard, as two children were seen rushing out of their house, the older and more energetic of the two sporting two large animal ears on his head with long greenish-blue hair, the younger and more meek of the two having short cut messy brunette hair, a bandage on his nose as he followed the older boy.

The two of them rushed off, heading towards the docks where the older boy was quickly stopped by the large crowd of people watching in awe. The older boy grumbled, trying his best to look around them, only to fail, much to his annoyance, as the younger boy finally caught up to him, panting heavily... The Older boy then perked up, grabbing the younger boy by the arm, before the two began snaking their way closer though the legs of the adults infront of them, until finally, the two stood at the front of the crowd, eyes widening in awe at the sight infront of them, as Several figures dressed in odd yet cool clothes were seen preparing a titan ship.

"Is it really them?"

"Yeah, it is."

Two of the adults around the two kids began to speak to eachother, causing the younger boy to perk up as he eavesdropped as The boy listened he turned and looked where the adults where looking, only to see a towering muscular man laughing happily, with a smaller girl by his side, her arms replaced with massive mechanical gauntlets.

"That's Rumond! And his Blade Viribus!"

"Ha! Who would have thought a Top rate Driver would come to our town!"

"It must be true then... He's a Driver, and a Salvager..."

"Who would have thought someone so amazing would be a Salvager... I bet he could get any kind of Job he wanted with his skills..."

The adults gossiped in Awe as they watched the Hulking Driver set up his titan ship, all the while, the young boy with immense awe, his eyes sparkling with stars...

"I wanna be just like him..."

The older boy suddenly said, grabbing the younger boy's attention.

"I'm gonna be a badass Driver! With a super cool Blade! And Kick monster butt!"

The older boy then slapped the younger boy on the shoulder, looking at him with a smile.

"And you're gonna be my partner!"

"Partner...?"

"Yup! You wanna be a Salvager, right?"
