ALEX'S APARTMENT

Elena knocks on the door, Alex opens it and smirks

Alex: Hello sweetpea

Elena walks past her inside the apartment, Alex closes the door

Elena: You said to come here. I'm here. What do you want to talk about?

Alex grabs her hand and drags her into the living room, both sitting down on the couch.

Alex: Klaus. He's real.

Elena: Who is he?

Alex: He's one of the originals, he's a legend. From the first generation of vampires.

Elena: Like Elijah?

Alex: Elijah is the Easter bunny compared to Klaus.

Elena: Okay, so you're saying that the oldest vampire in the history of time is coming after me?

Alex: Yes but----

She raises her hand placing it on the side of her face, Elena leans into her touch

Alex: I'm here, baby. I'll protect you. He's real and he doesn't give up. If he wants something, he gets it. If you're not afraid of Klaus, then you're an idiot.

Elena kisses her cheek and stands up

Alex: Where you going?

Elena: School. I'm late.

Alex: Wait, I'll drive you

Elena: I know how to get there, Alex

Alex: Yeah but I'm still taking you, Princess.

Elena holds her hand out towards her, wiggling her fingers. Alex smiles taking her hand in hers and interlinks their fingers together.

Elena and Alex are walking through the woods. Elena is carrying a bag

Elena: Tell everyone I wasn't feeling well and I went home from school.

Alex: I can't believe you talked me into letting you do this.

Elena: Keep everyone busy. I don't want anyone knowing what I'm doing. Do you promise me or not, Alex?

Alex: Ugh! Fine. You're lucky you're so cute, Princess.

They stop at the entrance to the tomb.

Alex: Are you sure about this?

Elena: Yes, I'm sure. She's the only one who knows the truth about Klaus. The only one who can tell me how to stop him.

Alex: Look, Kitty's great in bed but she's also a liar. Are you really sure??

Elena: Yeah. I can't just sit back and wait. I have to know. Baby, please

Alex walks towards the door and opens it

Elena: Katherine?

Alex: Oh my little Kitty, Daddy's here.

They hear a noise. Elena turns her head and looks at the door entrance. Katherine arrives and stops at the entrance.

Katherine: Hello Elena. You come to watch me wither away?

She looks over to Alex and smirks

Katherine: Hey baby. Goodbye baby.

Alex rolls her eyes and turns to look at Elena

Elena: I'll be fine

Alex nods her head and kisses her softly on the forehead then looks over to Katherine who winks at her
