The next morning Lexi woke up and found Blitz staring back at her. He was laying beside her with his head on her chest.
"Good morning my sweet boy." Lexi says kissing his nose.
"He loves his mom." Chase says.
"He is such a good dog. I love him even though I'm not his mom." Lexi says.
"Yes you are Lexi. I love you and so does Blitz." Chase says.
"I love you too. And when I say that I mean it." Lexi replies.
"I know, I mean it too." Chase says.
They both get up and get dressed.
"We will grab breakfast at Ry's before we drive to Martinsville." Chase says.
"Sounds good." Lexi says.
Lexi leashes Blitz and Chase grabs their bags. They then head out and head to the airfield. They arrive and Chase parks. They all board the plane and once cleared Chase took off.
