They got home from Iowa and got the dogs settled. No sooner than they laid down Lexi got sick.
"I'm sorry baby." Chase says as he got her back into bed.
"I hate this. I don't know if it's CVS flaring up or baby girl Elliott." Lexi says.
"I am sorry. What do you want or need baby?" Chase asks.
"Can we snuggle and watch movies?" Lexi asks.
"Sure sweetie. I don't have much to do tomorrow but a zoom meeting." Chase says.
"Okay. Can we watch hocus pocus?" Lexi asks.
"Sure we can." Chase says.
He turns it on. They lay there watching it.
"I really want to go to Salem." Lexi says.
"I can probably make that work. We are racing in Loudon New Hampshire this weekend." Chase says.
"I would love that!" Lexi says.
Chase kisses her head. After Hocus Pocus went off they turned on Sleepy Hallow.
"I really don't like scary movies but I would do anything to make you feel better." Chase says.
"Aww. Add Sleepy Hallow to my bucket list of places. I love scary movies so much." Lexi says.
"I can tell." Chase says.
When Sleepy Hallow ended they watched a few more until they both fell asleep .
Later next morning Chase and Lexi woke up.
"While I do my zoom you pack." Chase says.
"Okay baby." Lexi says.
She packed while Chase did his zoom.
"Okay we are leaving a little later. " Chase says.
"Okay do I get to know where we are going?" Lexi asks.
"Nope it's a surprise for you." Chase says.
"Okay." Lexi says smiling really big.
They got things together and got the dogs together.
"Can we stop and grab food on the way to the plane?" Lexi asks.
"Of course baby, what do you want?" Chase asks.
"The pool hall." Lexi says.
"Okay we can pick up food and then head to the airfield." Chase says.
Chase called in an order and they headed out. They stopped and got the food and then headed to the plane.
"That's a lot of food." Lexi says.
"Figured we would have it for in the hotel room when we get to where we are going." Chase replies.
