The next morning Lexi and Chase woke up when the alarm went off.
"Good morning baby, sorry it's early but we need to check out and head to the track." Chase says.
"I know today is qualifying day right?" Lexi asks.
"Yup later on this afternoon." Chase replies.
"Okay." Lexi says.
They both get up and get dressed. They grab their stuff and the dogs and head out to the main room. Everyone met there.
"This was a fun week guys thank you for including me and the kids." Katelyn says.
"Welcome just glad Kyle could be here and wasn't off racing something somewhere." Alex says.
"Me too, I had fun." Kyle replies with a chuckle.
"It was fun all around I enjoyed it." Ashely says.
"We all did." Lexi says.
They all nod their heads in agreement. They then head and check out. From there they load the car up and head out. They all head to the track and park. Lexi took the dogs into the coach and Chase followed with the bags.
"How are you feeling?" Chase asks.
"I am okay. When is qualifying?" Lexi asks.
"In a few hours. Do you want to do something?" Chase asks.
"Just lie around and be lazy." Lexi says.
"Okay why don't we make brunch then we can go down to the track for qualifying." Chase says.
"Hmm okay and I have just the perfect meal to make." Lexi says.
"Okay baby." Chase says.
"Okay." Lexi says.
She goes to the fridge and gets out what she needs as well as a few things from the freezer. She then starts to chop veggies for dinner. She finished tossing then into the skillet. She then goes and cuts the chicken. She throws half into the skillet with the veggies and sets some aside for the fried rice. She felt arms snake around her waist.
"What are we making?" Chase asks kissing her shoulder.
"Fried rice and Chicken stir fry." Lexi says.
"Hey baby are you okay?" Chase asks hearing the tears in her voice.
"Yes, No, I don't know." Lexi says.
She then turns to face him, tears running for down her eyes. Chase uses his thumbs to wipe them away. He then leans down kissing her softly.
