The next morning Lexi and Chase woke up when the alarm went off.
"Sorry baby, but we have to head to the track. The bags are still in the truck so we can just leash the dogs and head there. We can stay at the coach and come back here and get the rest of the stuff before I fly us out of Cali." Chase says.
"Okay baby, I might stay at the coach today. I am not feeling a hundred percent and I just want to relax." Lexi says.
"Okay baby girl." Chase replies kissing her head. They both get up and get dressed. Chase helped her out to the car and then went and got the dogs. They head off to Sonoma.
An hour later they arrive. Chase parks in front of their coach. He took the dogs in and then came back out to get Lexi.
"Thanks baby." Lexi says leaning on him.
"You okay?" Chase asks.
"Yes just need to relax a bit. I did a lot the last few days." Lexi says.
They head into the coach. Chase got her comfortable on the couch. Blitz jumped up with her.
"That is right buddy, take care of mama and your lil sister." Chase says scratching his ears.
"I love snuggles with Blitz." Lexi says.
"I know. I will be back a little later. We can order in and watch some movies." Chase says.
"Sounds good to me." Lexi replies.
Chase kisses her head and then leaves to head down to the track. Blitz laid right beside her.
"Snuggle Mama my sweet boy." Lexi says kissing his nose. She turned the TV on to the channel practice was going to air on and laid back and relaxed.
A little bit later Lexi was woken up to soft lips on hers.
"Hey baby, how was practice?" Lexi asks.
"It went well. I finished fifth. I have a fast car and I think I have a shot at the pole." Chase replies.
"That is good." Lexi says.
"I know. How are you feeling?" Chase asks.
"I am okay." Lexi says.
"Is it okay if Ryan and Gianna come over and play some board games with us? " Chase asks.
"That is fine, but why don't you see if Alex and Ashely want to as well. It's nice out we can sit outside." Lexi says.
"Sounds like a plan. I will bust out the grill and we can have burgers and hot dogs." Chase replies.
"Or we can just order pizza's." Lexi replies.
"Okay baby whatever you want." Chase says.
He helped her up off the couch. Lexi went and changed into something a little bit more presentable. Chase went and got the table set up. Lexi took out some games. A few minutes later Ryan and Gianna come over followed by Alex and Ashley.
