They arrived in Charlotte pretty late after Kansas and they turned in. Monday morning Chase woke up and got changed.
"Going to the shop?" Lexi asks.
"Yup I have a lot to do there before we head out to New Orleans." Chase says.
"We are going early?" Lexi asks.
"Yes like I said we won't have time to explore when we go for the Taylor concert." Chase says.
"Oh okay." Lexi says.
"And I know you want to see that house with the Taylor skeletons." Chase says.
"I do!" Lexi says.
Lexi got up and got dressed.
"You ready to go?" Chase asks.
"Yes. My bags stay packed." Lexi says.
"Well I want to show you the world before Vegas comes and then we can show her the world." Chase says putting his hand on her belly.
She kicked like crazy.
"I think Vegas likes the sound of that." Lexi says putting her hand over his.
"I love her so much, and I love you even more." Chase says kissing her forehead.
"I love you too." Lexi says.
They stood like that for a few minutes. They then separate so they can head out.
"Don't worry about the dogs okay, Ryan and Gi will come get them and bring them to Dega with them." Chase says.
"Okay good." Lexi says.
They head out to HMS. Once they arrive Chase goes and does what he needs to do.
"Hey Lexi can I talk to you for a minute?" Rick asks her.
"Sure." Lexi says.
She was nervous like being called into the principal's office. She followed him into his and took a seat.
"You are not in trouble at all. Actually I was hoping you would like to take a job here?" Rick asks.
"A job?" Lexi asks.
"Yup I heard from a little birdie that you majored in public relations in college and had a 4.0." Rick says.
"I did. My mom always enstilled it in my brain I had to have good grades if I wanted to dance and cheer. So despite graduating top of my class at Texas A M I went on to become a pro cheerleader cus that's my main passion." Lexi replies.
"Well there is about to be a spot opening up and I want you to fill it." Rick says.
"Can I talk it over with Chase and get back to you?" Lexi asks.
