"Open your mouth."

"Seriously?"

"Come on," Roman urged, narrowing his eyes at the other man. Colt sighed, but did as was asked.

Roman grinned as he threw the popcorn at the werewolf, missing his mouth and cheek instead. He attempted again. And then again, until he accidentally hit Colt's eye, making him groan.

"Okay, that's enough," Colt said. The two were at his house, watching a movie. "You should be glad you're a swimmer and that you don't play basketball."

"Pfft, I usually have a good aim. This is all your fault," Roman argued, making Colt raise a questioning brow.

"How is this my fault?"

"Because when I see your mouth open I think of putting other things in there," Roman grinned. "So you can't blame me for being distracted and missing."

"You're a menace," Colt muttered, shaking his head.

Ever since the tournament a couple weeks back, Roman had been dropping hints here and there that he wanted to take a step further. Both of them had very high sex drives, and they were horny pretty much all the time. Though there were a lot of things that they did, it was clear that Roman wanted to have sex.

He was teasing the Alpha more than usual, pretty much offering himself on a plate and as much as Colt wanted to do it too... he had his reasons to hold on.

The biggest one being that he didn't want to have sex until he was honest to Roman about who, or more precisely, what he was. He didn't want any deception or lies between them. He wanted their foundation of their bond to be built on truth, so it was important for him to come clean about everything.

The prospect of telling Roman that he was a werewolf and that they were soulmates was scary. Terrifying, even. He didn't know how the man would react. Would he run away? Would he give Colt a chance? Would Colt lose him or have him forever?

There were too many questions, and even more doubts and insecurities. Every time Colt decided that he was going to just be out with it, something or the other made him pull back.

Colt knew he was better than this. And he knew that the longer he kept lying to Roman... the worse the outcome was going to be. He kept telling himself that he was waiting for the right time. But would there ever be a right time to tell your lover that you're a supernatural creature and that you both are bonded by a mysterious force?

Roman chuckled as he laid down on the couch, with his head on Colt's lap as they went back to focusing on the movie. Colt was playing with Roman's hair, a blanket covering the swimmer's lower body as they relaxed and enjoyed each other's presence.

The peace didn't last long, as they were soon disturbed by a knock. Colt exhaled deeply as Roman sat up straight. Colt could tell that it was Theo at his door, and he likely wouldn't have disturbed his Alpha while he was spending time with his mate unless it was because of something important.

Colt let Theo in, both of them joining Roman in the living room. Theo smiled politely at the swimmer, before looking at Colt again with a somewhat concerned expression.

"I, uh, I needed to talk to you about something," Theo stated.

"Can it wait?" Colt asked, his tone sharp and pointed. Theo shook his head, making Colt nod understandingly. Both the wolves glanced at Roman, who shrugged before standing up.

"I was thinking of taking a shower anyway," Roman said. He grazed Colt's hand as he passed by him, whispering in his ear. "Join me when you both are done talking."
