John had texted Arlo back at some point in the night, and Arlo saw the text when he woke up at around 6AM.
John: Sera sed I can talk to u
Sent at 2:13AM
Arlo's brows furrowed. 'Why the hell was he up so late when he sent that?' Arlo chose to ignore it and texted back.
Arlo: It's said and you, not sed and u.
Sent at 6:08AM
Arlo was surprised when he got a new message almost right away from John.
John: Doesnt mater its text
Sent at 6:08AM
Arlo narrowed his eyes with annoyance as he sent another reply.
Arlo: You could at least try and be correct in your spelling. Your last text was barely even legible to me.
Sent at 6:10AM
John: Sera understands
Sent at 6:10AM
Arlo: You cling to her like a koala, the very least you could do is learn some spelling tips from her.
Sent at 6:10AM
John:🖕
Sent at 6:11AM
Arlo stared at the text with annoyance, but simply put his phone down and got ready for school. It was too early in the morning to deal with him.
As he finished getting ready and grabbed his phone to head to school, he got another text from John.
John: Do u really think htat Sera will like it moer if I spel probably
John: *properly
Sent at 6:46AM
Arlo got an idea in his head. He cares very much about Seraphina's opinions...
Arlo: It'll give her less of a headache looking at your texts. Besides, it'll show her that you put effort into texting properly instead of just typing slop and sending it. It shows you care about people, and may make Seraphina think you're more caring.
Sent at 6:47AM
He got the results almost immediately.
John: Really
Sent at 6:47AM
Arlo smirked.
Arlo: Yes, really.
Sent at 6:47AM
John: Fine does this work
Sent at 6:47
'Finally. Something from him I can read.' Arlo thought as he walked out the door, watching as John sent another text.
John: I don't really care either way how do u know Sera
Sent at 6:48
Arlo stared at the text. 'Immediately going straight to the point, huh.' Arlo thought.
Arlo: We talked because we both had Royal titles that needed our cooperation together. I'm King, and Seraphina used to be the Queen before she gave her title to Remi and went for the Ace title.
Sent at 6:49AM
John: So u both weren't friends before
Sent at 6:49AM
Arlo: I wouldn't say friends. "Work colleagues" is a better way of describing it.
Sent at: 7:00AM
John: That's sad for u Sera's an amazing person
Sent at 7:00AM
Arlo didn't bother responding to that text. He wasn't gonna deal with that shit.

John felt nothing as he laid down lifelessly on his bed, still staring numbly at his phone that had already turned off from not being used.
It was a school day. He should probably get up. He didn't get up though. He should probably get ready. He didn't get up.
What would be the point of going? His Savior wasn't there, and she wouldn't be here either, so why bother with it?
