Cold.
It was so cold.
His head was spinning.
The Japanese had attacked Manchuria.
"Baba!"
His father wouldn't wake up.
He could hear paramedics screaming in the background. They were going to take his father away.
Blood stained the ground into a dark pinkish red. It was beautiful in a deathly way. The red was spilling out of the makeshift bandages on his father.
Was some of it his blood? He couldn't tell. All he knew was that his father was hurt, he was hurt, and that it was cold.
"Baba!"

China awoke with sweat dripping down his forehead. His mouth felt dry.
Just a nightmare...a really vivid one...
His mind wandered to the conversation with UN. North Korea must have thought it was him.
He's just protective. China doesn't want to lose NK. He can't lose someone else, but he'd never hurt America just for that. Despite what their countries thought in the real world.
He turned around and opened his phone. 2:36 in the morning. Too early to be awake. No one would hear him crying though.
The tears stained his cheeks, but it was ok. He'd just wipe them off.
Baba...Baba I miss you...
He turned over and tried to sleep, but his body wouldn't let him. His back ached, and his mouth felt like a desert. He shivered, keeping his legs curled up and close to his body.
Was it always freezing in his room?
Cold.
It was so cold...
