Green To Yellow: Beware My Power

Chapter 1

"Jordan, I must admit I'm quite surprised to see you of all people here." Sinestro snickered, turning to face his old ally.

"Why does someone have one of your power rings?" Hal interrogated as Sinestro smiled slightly.

"You believe The Green Lanterns are the only Lanterns in all the universes to recruit their own? There's many others who wield my rings." Sinestro spoke as Hal stepped closer towards his enemy with closed up fists.

"What're you planning, Sinestro?!" He demanded an answer as Sinestro remained calm and grinning.

"Nothing I wish to unfold to you in this very moment, this prison won't hold me forever, I'll tell you that much." He spoke as Hal shook his head lightly.

"Yes it will, I'll make sure of it!" Hal expressed, turning away and taking off to the skies as Sinestro watched with his devious grin.

At the beginning of time, seven different entities were spawned, each representing a single emotion. Ion, who represented a whale or fish, and Willpower. Parallax, resembling an insectoid creature and Fear. The demonic Bull, known as The Butcher, who represented the overwhelming power of Rage. Ophidian, depicted as a large serpent, as well as representing Greed. Adara, a large three headed bird representing the undying essence of Hope. The embodiment of Compassion, known as Proselyte, who appears in a squid-like creature. The Predator, who represents the far-reaching power of love, appears as a skeletal draconic creature. The immortal Guardians of the universe learned to unlock the power of said entities after tapping into the power of Ion. This led to the creation of the first lantern corps. The members of this force became known as Green Lanterns, named for the shape of their power batteries which they were able to harness Ion's green energy of willpower. Over time, the remaining 6 corps were then formed. On the planet Zamaron, The Star Saphires Corps wielded the power of love. Atrocitus took the power of Red Rage on the planet Ysmault, and the Red Lantern Corps was born. Okaara, residing only one, Lafleez wielded the power of Greed. He is the only member apart of the Orange Lantern Corps. When the guardians Ganthet and Sayd were exiled by their peers for displaying emotion, they escaped to the planet Odym, where thy formed the Blue Lantern Corps. This Corps's purpose was to use the blue light of hope to bolster the Green Lantern Corps, in anticipation of the coming War of Light. Next up, a nomadic alien tribe learned to wield the indigo light of compassion, forming the Indigo Lantern Corps. These lanterns are the only known group that does not make use of a power ring, choosing to use a staff to channel their power. Finally, The Sinestro corps. Lead by the rouge Green Lantern Sinestro after being banished to the antimatter Universe.

Now, dear reader, I'll be revealing to you 3 of the 7 Lanterns in this story of Good and Evil. The Green Lantern Corps, The Red Lantern Corps, and The Sinestro Corps. Sit back, relax, and prepare yourself for a series full of emotion.

"Now, son, I have to get into the plane but how about you hold onto this for me, will ya?" Martin smiled lightly handing Young Hal his jacket as Hal smiled widely, watching his father rush off to the plane garage.

"Hey." Young Carol smiled at Hal as he looked at her blushing slightly and quickly turning back to the airfield.

"Hey." He spoke shyly.

"Big day! Your dad's going to do great!" She expressed as he smile towards her.

"Yeah, he is." He spoke as the two exchanged smiles. "So, Carol, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to-" He started until Mr.Ferris cut him off in that moment.
