"Mommy? why is that kid sitting all alone on the swing set?" I ask my mom while pointing to the little girl on the swings. "I don't know, why don't you go try talking to her" My mom suggests. I walk over to the sad little girl on the swing. "Why are you sitting all alone over here." I ask while climbing on to the swing next to the girl.
"i miss my mommy" the girl says while wiping her nose. "wouldn't your mommy want you to play with the other kids?" i ask her. "I don't really have any friends to play with" the girl says sadly. "What if i could be your friend" I offer and the girl looks up. "You would do that?" the girl asks. "Why not, i would want someone to come up to me if i was sad" I say shrugging. "What's your name" the girl asks. "Max, yours?" I ask.
"Jane"
"i like that name" iI say to Jane. "i like yours" Jane says smiling. "you wanna go play tag" i offer to Jane. "Yeah" Jane says, then she taps my arm then runs of giggling. "Hey! No fair, I wasn't ready!" I run after Jane giggling too.
