We walked out of there with crappy clothes the school gave us. So we were matching it was a little funny. Jane had already got her license so she was just gonna drive herself, but I didn't have a license. We were too poor to get me one. I had just planned on walking. it was already 10, I was a sketched out but I can defend myself I'm a football player. "Max, are you gonna just walk home" Jane called out to me.
"Yeah. Kinda" I answer not really sure of my self. "Come on let me drive you home it's the least I can do after pushing you" I agree not being able to say no to her. I climb into her car.
Jane follows and starts the car, the car ride home was quiet but a nice quiet. I even fell asleep on the ride home, being around Jane was comforting for me. "Hey, wake up this is your house. Right?" Jane softly whispered, "what..." I said sleepily. That was the best sleep I've ever gotten. "This is your house right?"
Jane gestured to my house "wait..." I say still half asleep "how did you know where I live I moved after you moved" I question her while putting the dots together. "Well.. out the car you go!" she rushes me out the car and on the sidewalk infant of my house, obviously avoiding the question. "have a nice night!" She yells out the window and drives off. I turn towards my 'house' if you can even call it that.
