BLAKE'S POV

"I love you, Blake."

"I love you too," I don't hesitate to say back.

If it wasn't for the damn screen between us, I'd pull her in for a kiss and never let her go. I want to see her so bad. We have plans for me to go over tomorrow, but every fibre of my being is telling me to go to her. I love her. I love Yang XiaoLong. And she loves me.

Instead of going to her, we both cry and giggle on the chat together, struggling to say anything of importance because we said what we feel deep in our heart.

"When I see you tomorrow, I want to run my hands through your hair as I leave kisses along your neck and kiss you on the lips until we can't breathe," I tell her, her eyes go wide, her cheeks red. "I want to show you just how much I love you, Yang."

Her mouth opens and closes like a fish, her blush spreading to her ears.

Grinning, I continue, "I'm going to cherish every little bit of your skin, you won't have to do a thing, and when I finish, I'm going to get us some ice cream, put on a movie and cuddle you until we fall asleep with you in my arms."

"That sounds amazing," she manages to get out, trying and failing to hide her face.

"My mum got me a new book," I change the subject purposefully, knowing I could go on forever about how much I wanted to make love to the woman on the other end of the videocall. "It's a fantasy adventure novel about demigods trying to find an item stolen from some gods and get it back before a war breaks out. I haven't read it yet but it looks interesting."

We talk for hours about different things, I notice Yang starting to get sleepy but she refuses to hang up, so I keep talking about books that I love. She eventually falls asleep on the call, I wait a little bit before I hang up, listening to her soft snores. I put my scroll on my bedside table and fall asleep myself, excited to see her tomorrow.

Shing!

Bolting up in bed, I look around the room, expecting to see Adam standing above me, but there's no one. I'm alone. The sun shines through the curtains. I slow my breathing and get out of bed, heading straight to the bathroom for a shower.

During the shower, I get intense cramps in my lower belly, but not from my wound. Dammit. When I get out of the shower, before I grab my towel to dry off, I wipe my privates with some toilet paper and groan at the sight of blood. Dammit. I dry off and put on some clothes, making sure I have a pad secured in place.

"Stupid female body," I grumble as I pack a duffel bag with some clothes, a couple books and my hot water bottle for later.

I spend the morning slowly helping my parents tidy up the house doing chores like dishes, washing and vacuuming, then we go grocery shopping and after, they drop me at Yang's. I let myself in because I've been told that I'm more than welcome to just walk in. I barely get the door shut when I'm tackled in a hug, a mass of blonde hair in my face. I let out a laugh and hug Yang tight. She pulls away, put I pull her back in for a kiss, feeling her smile against my lips.

"Hey Kitten," she says breathlessly.

"Hey baby," I smile, putting my bag on the floor so I can hug her again. "I have news, kind of."

"Hmm?"

"I got my period this morning," I tell her, "but, that won't stop me from loving all over you later tonight."

She pulls her hair over her face a little, but I can see the red tinge on her cheeks. Gods, I love making her blush. I reach out, tucking her hair behind her ears and resting a hand on her jaw, rubbing my thumb over her cheek. An intense cramp makes me grimace in pain. I take a deep breath and see that Yang looks worried.

"Let's move to the couch," she says, taking my hand in hers.

She sits down on the couch and pulls me down so my head is in her lap and she plays with my hair while we watch some TV. The cramps were intense, but they eventually die down as Yang plays with my hair, helping me relax. This is nice, and I can't wait for tonight.

Ruby comes down from her bedroom and lays on the ground to read her comics and watch movies with us. Usually, Tai is bustling about the house doing things, but it doesn't seem like he's here right now. School is out for the year, so I expected him to be around the house a bit more.

"Where's Tai?" I ask the sisters.

"He went on a trip to Atlas, something about calling in a favour or a surprise, we're not sure," Ruby says, not looking up from her comic. She whips out a cookie and nibbles on it.

"He said he'd be back in a week or two," adds Yang, running her hand through my hair. "Qrow said he'll pop by every couple days to check on us, but we've basically got free reign over the house."

I smirk and wink at Yang, she just squints back, but I see the edge of her lips go up into a smile.

"Are you guys hungry? We could order food," Ruby asks, putting down her comic.

"I could eat," I say.

"Pizza?" Yang offers.

We all agree and order a couple pizzas. While we wait on them to be delivered, we head outside with Zwei and throw a ball around for him. I am normally terrified of dogs, but Zwei is a special case. He's such a sweet little dog that just wants pats and cuddles and for someone to throw his ball. Boy, that dog does have energy though. Even when the delivery guy turns up, Zwei is still wanting to run around and play, but he follows us back inside and curls up in his dog bed while we eat and watch Ruby's favourite cartoons.

Half way into an episode, I get a sharp pang of pain followed by a feeling of release. I quietly excuse myself, grab my bag and head upstairs to change my pad, only when I look through my bag, I find that I forgot to pack any. I head back downstairs and tap Yang lightly on the shoulder.

"Do you have any pads?" I whisper into her ear.

"Oh, yeah," she says.

She comes back upstairs with me and finds her stash in the bathroom and leaves me to it. I sort myself out, and when I come back through, before I can even fully shut the door, Yang's lips are on mine. I gladly kiss back, only breaking to lift her up and wrap her legs around my waist before kissing her again and laying her down on the bed.

We practically rip each others clothes off, barely stopping our kissing unless needed. I do as I promised last night and love on every inch of her body, enjoying her squirms and moans of pleasure. By the time I finish, she's panting with an exhausted smile on her face.

"I love you, Yang," I say, running my fingers along her side.

"I love you, Blake," she whispers back, sighing happily.

"Let's go shower," I say, taking her hand and pulling her up.

We shower together, washing each other and kissing occasionally, simply enjoying each others bodies. As promised, when we get out of the shower, I order some ice cream to be delivered. When it arrives, I grab a couple spoons from the kitchen and join Yang in bed. We spend the rest of the night eating ice cream and watching movies until we fall asleep with Yang in my arms.
