- In The Arena - ( Author's POV )

Zephyr and her opponent slowly walked up to the arena, and they both met eyes.. Her opponent was the only one who caught her attention throughout the school for the first day.. The black haired boy. She smiled and got excited since she was the first one to test out his hidden inventions that peaked interest in her ( just like Hiccup ey?- Author ). Before the fight started, Hiccup visited the arena as a major guest to spectate the young Vikings and how they fight today. "Morning Fishlegs!" He greeted while patting him on the back."Morning, Hiccup! Or should I say Chief Hiccup?" Fishlegs replied by hugging Hiccup."Nah.. No need to be TOO formal" Hiccuo replied, which caused Fishlegs to laugh."The first round for the final fight is about to start" Fishlegs reminded Hiccup. "Oh, perfect timing!" Hiccup replied and sat down next to the instructors while the instructors were asking the combatants whether they were ready. Hiccup saw the combatants, and it was.. "Zephyr?"He thought to himself,'Poor boy is gonna get demolished by her..' Hiccup thought to himself while he looked lost in thought.

"Combatants, are you ready?!" The female instructor yelled, Both Zephyr and the black haired boy nodded, and they both took a stance. While Zephyr was calm and had a stance similar to Astrid's, the boy was nervous and almost shaking because the thought of fighting the Chief's and The Strongest Viking's daughter would scare anyone. ( Even me lol- Author ) '1!.. 2!.. 3!.. START!' The female instructor yelled, and the large horn was blown to signal the start of the round. The crowd started cheering for both sides and wondered.. Which of the top 2 Vikings of this year will win?..

Zephyr was the one who first made a move and turned offensive, dealing a blow to the boy's sword. The boy maintained his balance and exchanged a blow to Zephyr, This time, Zephyr noticed it.. He clicked the button just before his sword made an impact at Zephyr's sword, causing Zephyr's sword to get more impact damage.'Now I get it.. He is trying to break my sword and making me forfeit the match, so he wins easily..Not bad..' Zephyr finally got the motive of the boy as he retracted the strong iron back, making it seem normal again. The crowd and even Hiccup were focused on the match, so they hadn't noticed the boy's method of winning.

Zephyr now had to be serious and decided to try to end the fight quickly before her sword slowly broke down because of the impact damage alone. She did heavy blows to the boys sword, which caused the boy's sword to slowly be damaged as well since he he only used the strong iron when he was the one in the offensive, That was the small weakness that Zephyr noticed and took advantage of. She kept being on the offensive and ducked down to kick the boy's leg, making him almost fall but he reacted quickly and stabbed his sword onto the ground making his balance still stable after the kick 'Woah' Even Zephyr was amazed by that move so she got distracted for a moment and she earned a heavy blow by the strong iron onto the stomach 'Yup..He only does it when he is on offensive' Zephyr muttered while preparing for another barrage of attacks.

The fight continued longer than anyone expected, especially for a kid's fight. Everyone stood up to watch the battle closer and to observe what was happening.'My gods, this girl sure is strong!' The boy said in his thoughts, still overwhelmed by Zephyr's attacks. Slowly, the boy's sword started to break down piece by piece. So he revealed his secret invention he had.. He ducked down and copied Zephyr's move in kicking the leg while dodging the attack, but.. Zephyr didn't notice the small hidden springs in his boots.. well.. It didn't go exactly as the boy planned before his kick made contact with Zephyr's legs.. She reacted and quickly blocked it, which.. caused a malfunction with the boy's springs, causing him to fly off the sides of the arena. Ending the fight with..

"ZEPHYR HADDOCK IS THE WINNER!" The instructor said in unison, and Hiccup sighed happily since he didn't like how intense the fight was going, especially that it was HIS daughter's fight as well.. 'That was.. TOO close for comfort.. Phew.." Hiccup muttered.

Zephyr slowly got down from the arena and offered a hand at the boy. "Hey, not bad" She said while smiling, "You gave me a good fight to enjoy" Zephyr added "N-No problem.. Well played to you too" the boy replied while scratching the back of his head."What's your name, by the way?" Zephyr asked."Uh.. Adrian" the boy replied while he bent down to fix his boots.

Suddenly.. Zephyr leaned down and whispered, "Your inventions were not bad too." she teased him while giggling, and the boy got surprised at her sentence and stood up."W-Wait!-" before he got to say anything else. Zephyr blocked his mouth. "Don't worry, I'll keep it as a secret for making the fight fun for me, Adrian" She told him and slowly took off her hand off his mouth.. "See ya! Goodluck with the second round so you can pass!" Zephyr told him while waving goodbye and leaving the arena.. Adrian smiled and muttered "That's the two legend's daughter for you.." and he went back to the arena to fight for the second round so he can pass.
