Rest day

Setting: After the combat training that Zephyr easily did. Valka volunteered to take care of Zephyr and Nuffinks for the next day so the couple could rest peacefully

- In The Haddock Residence -

Author's POV:

"Bye mom and dad!" Zephyr and Nuffinks said in unison as they kissed Astrid and Hiccup goodbye to enjoy a day with their grandma Valka. "You guys both behave with grandma, alright?" Hiccup reminded both of them before they left. Valka laughed at the advice. "Don't worry, They are mini hiccups and astrid. I can handle them" Valka said proudly as she carried Nuffinks and kissed Zephyr's forehead. "Don't underestimate them" Astrid added while she was cooking up Hiccup and Her dinner for tonight. "Okay, okay! Bye you two!" Valka said when she started walking onto her house, which was near the Great Hall and near Stoick's statue as well.

Hiccup sighed in relief since they got to spend a lovely time together tonight. Hiccup slowly closed the door and walked up behind Astrid and hugged her from behind. "What are you cooking for tonight, Milady?" Hiccup asked her while gently kissing her neck, trying to give her hickeys like back then. "Your favorite" Astrid replied, giggling at Hiccup's playful nature. "Did I say that you were so beautiful today?" Hiccup whispered to her."Yup, like a million times now" Astrid replied and kissed Hiccup in the cheeks."Go ahead and ready our plates, Hiccup" Astrid told Hiccup as she slowly brought their food to the table.

Hiccup got their plate and cups and sat next to Astrid. "Let's eat, Milady?" Hiccup asked her while he helped her sit next to him "Sure, We are both hungry after all" Astrid replied and gave Hiccup a kiss in the cheek for the help.

- Few Moments Later -

It was Hiccup's turn to wash the dishes while Astrid cleaned up the living room after Zephyr and Nuffinks made a mess before they left for Valka. "Hey Hiccup! Can you throw me that towel?" Astrid yelled."Sure thing, Milady!" Hiccup replied and threw her a white towel, and she used it to wipe off her sweat after Astrid got done cleaning up the mess, She sat down at Hiccup's chair to rest for a bit, Hiccup got done as well and cleaned off and remaining dirt from the counter and later walked up to Astrid and wiped the sweat off her back.

"Thanks, Hiccup" She told him while he was still wiping her back. "You really need a shower" Hiccup replied. "You mean both of us" Astrid replied to Hiccup's statement, which made Hiccup blush a bit since even though they have been married for a while and got children, Hiccup still gets nervous when it comes to them being all alone together which makes Astrid smile everytime she asks so. "Sure thing" Hiccup told her, and they both got to their bathroom upstairs to finally cool off.

They went upstairs, and Hiccup was the first one to go to the bathroom. "Wait for me, I'll just take off my clothes." Astrid told him."Okay, Milady" Hiccup replied as he entered the bathroom, After Hiccup sat in the tub for a while he saw the door open through the mist the water made and saw Astrid's beautiful figure, Of course being Hiccup he still blushed at the sight of his beautiful wife. "What?" Astrid asked while laughing because Hiccup was focused on her and her only through the mist "O-Oh sorry" Hiccup replied and looked away. Astrid walked closer and joined Hiccup in the big bathtub they had and leaned to Hiccup "I'm your wife you know" Astrid teased Hiccup, She slowly leaned forward and pulled Hiccup into a deep, passionate kiss that was filled with love. Hiccup kissed back, and Hiccup pulled her closer, making both their physical body closer and their souls becoming one, Astrid released soft moans because of Hiccup's dominance in her mouth

They parted after a whole minute of kissing and gasped for air, They both shared a smile and shared another deep kiss as soon as they got the air they needed, Astrid was basically sitting on Hiccup because of how close he hugged her. Hiccup parted and was panting for air "Too intense?" Astrid said while panting."Nothing a strong chief like me can handle.." Hiccup said jokingly."Mhmm? Really?" Astrid asked while raising an eyebrow.

- After a few more "romantic" moments and Them actually showing now -

Astrid was laying on Hiccup's whole body while the rest of Hiccup's body was underwater in their tub. "You do know that we have a bed than a tub right?" Hiccup asked while gently stocking her tense back "Yeah..But I don't feel like walking and getting off this comfortable position" Astrid replied, still burying her face in Hiccup's chest blowing small bubbles "We already showered so we might get sick staying here for so long" Hiccup said to her worried for her health "I don't wanna walk though" Astrid complained not wanting to stand up and leave Hiccup. 'Oh well..' Hiccup told himself and carried Astrid out of the tub, and drying her himself. After he dried himself, he carried Astrid to the bed "Get your clothes on, You big baby" Hiccup told her while he was putting on his soft tunic clothes "Thank you~" Astrid told Hiccup and kissed Hiccup's cheeks.

Hiccup laid down in bed and waited for Astrid to come lay down with him, and while waiting, he pulled out a picture book containing old photos of the gang and other more nostalgic memories for Hiccup to enjoy and look back on. After a while of Hiccup reading the book, he slowly puts it down and sees Astrid preparing to jump in top of him "W-Wait-" Before Hiccup could be prepared for the jump Astrid was gonna do she jumped and landed on Hiccup's stomach "Ow..." Hiccup groaned at the sudden pain "What was that for..?" Hiccup asked while rubbing his stomach "To flatten out my bed" Astrid replied as she laid her head at Hiccup and puts her entire weight on top of him 'Geez.. Astrid will always be Astrid, I guess, "Hiccup thought while he was stroking Astrid's golden hair and still groaning at the pain. He slowly took the fur blanket and covered both of them while Astrid was already snoring a bit.'Well, She did wake us up very early everyday..So.. This can repay her hardworking i guess?' Hiccup thought as he looked down on a beautiful Astrid sleeping peacefully.. Before Hiccup started sleeping, he kissed Astrid's head and said, "Goodnight, Milady" to her. Well, I guess.. Astrid wasn't fully asleep since she replied with a goodnight kiss with Hiccup and did circles on his chest.. before slowly.. The two fell asleep on each other's presence, showing off a side that no one else saw..

*Extra!* (Meanwhile in Valka's house: Arghh! I'm the greatest Dragon Tamer in the whole world, muahahaha! Valka exclaimed while Zephyr, and Nuffinks were dressed as Hiccup and Astrid and had a stuffed up toy of Toothless hidden in a small box underneath the bed that was like small pillow fort Cosplaying and playing with their good old grandma)
