Part 1 - Asgard

AN - welcome to book 2, I hope you enjoy :) if you haven't read book 1 it's under my profile if you wish to read 'Light and Dark'.

We go through some sort of rainbow tunnel surround by space outside its walls. I hold my eyes closed tight as we land in a big golden room. Loki clings onto my arm keeping me steady "ok I may never return back, that was horrid" I say breathlessly, Loki just laughs. I look around and spot a tall dark man dressed in gold armour. "Hi there" I say awkwardly, he nods "Y/N Arransech an elf of althiem, welcome to Asgard." He states with a straight face "sorry 'Arransech?' Who is this?" I ask towards Loki and Thor "this is hemindall, he is our protector, he sees and knows all" Thor says, I look at him dumbfounded "you... you found me?" I ask almost whispering "I did lady Y/N, I also know a great deal about you" he says "so is Arransech my last name?" I question. I've never knew my last name before I was surprised I never thought I had one as silly as that sounds. "Yes it was your fathers last name, it means 'brave one'" the golden man states I nod "thank you" I say "your father and mother are awaiting your arrival in the throne room" hemindall speaks toward Thor and Loki. "Then we mustn't keep them waiting" Thor states

We ride up to the palace on horses, I take in the view of everything on my way. Never have I seen land so beautiful and enchanting, it was magical here. We dismount off the horses and begin to walk the halls me between Thor and Loki "Loki do your thing" Thor says gesturing to me, he nods "wai-" I go to say but he flicks his fingers at me I'm suddenly dressed in a beautiful dress I look down at it in awe.

We enter the throne room with who I could assume Odin sitting at the throne and Friga standing beside him. Thor and Loki bow and I try to curtsied toward them "stand" Odin bellows, the room echoing we do as said I felt very nervous I didn't even know if Thor or Loki had told them I'd be here "Father this is Lady Y/N from althiem" Thor states " I am aware of that son, i was the one to bless her. I heard you have been using your gift along side my sons" Odin questions towards me "yes your highness I am grateful to be able to use it for good" I say trying to keep my nerves at bay "I'm glad and Loki you haven't removed her cloak yet?" Odin questions "pardon father? Cloak?" Loki questions "yes your mother placed a spell to cover y/ns heritage to protect her identity" Odin states "wait so I don't look like this? I question "you do, there's just features that would make you stand out" friga explains, I nod. "So tonight we will be having a feast and a dance to welcome y/n to the kingdom" Odin states "father, why?" Thor asks "because she is of myth, no one thought there was such thing as a light and dark elf. Given that it was such a high crime. If she is staying the people of the kingdom have a right to know especially if she is going to be with you two. Say y/n are you courting either of my sons?" Odin asks, "no. I am not. We are just friends, family even" I say nervously "very well, show y/n to her room" Odin says directly to the boys. "Dear I'll come find you later to remove my spell" Friga says "thank you" I reply with a small smile.

We exit the throne room "so that's why you don't look like the ones I've seen" Thor exclaims "yes we would have figured it out sooner if it wasn't for this barrier" Loki nods in agreement. "This is going to be weird" I say quietly "you'll be fine darling, don't be nervous" Loki tries to reassure "what if you both look at me different" I say as we continue to roam the halls "we will do no such thing lady Y/N, your still our family" Thor states holding my shoulder, Loki nods in agreement "you didn't look at me any different, did you?" Loki asks "no" I say "then I shall treat you the same" he states.

"This here is your room lady Y/N, mine and my brothers are across the hall" Thor says, I nod and open the door I was amazed the room was coloured in white and gold with wood furnishings laying around. "It's beautiful" I say in awe. "Change into a new gown and make yourself at home, we will come find you in a bit" Thor says, I nod and they close the door behind them. I look through the wooden wardrobe looking at all the gowns that hung there, they were amazing. I go up to the window and look out, gold accents of buildings and bridges with a beautiful sky layer behind them. There's a knock "come in" I say a young women comes through the door "good afternoon lady y/n I am your maid whilst you are staying, I'm Regina" she says with a small bow "it's lovely to meet you Regina, no need for the bowing I am not of royalty" I say with a small smile "you are with the princes no?" She asks "I am, however I just want to be friends I dont want you to feel as though you just serve me, you don't have to worry with me" I say, she lightly smiles "thank you lady y/n" she says going to bow but stops herself we giggle together "I was sent to help you get ready for the feast" she says "great cause although I said I don't want you to feel like your serving me I have no idea what dress to pick, can you help?" I ask smiling "it would be a pleasure" she states. We talk a lot whilst I get ready she asks about Midgard as they call it here and I ask about Asgard. We both get along very well and I can see us becoming friends.

AN - small but important chapter, we've learnt y/ns last name and that her true identity is hidden. I hope you stay along with me as the story continues:)
