I head home in the evening thinking about the days events, I respect Tony's decision but I couldn't help the hope I felt. We could get him back. I get up getting a bottle to drink. This was very overwhelming I had no idea how to feel. I feel asleep eventually after drinking I little. I lie. A lot.
The next day I hear a thud at the door, I groan getting up to open it "good morning glow bug... you look like you had an eventful night and...smell like it, oh my god. How much did you drink you smell like a bar" Tony says pulling a face "what do you want? It's... 8am!" I say looking at the clock behind me. He shrugs and comes in "please make yourself at home" I say unamused as he sits on my sofa "I figured it out" he says "ok Tony I need a bit more, did you figure out how to get Morgan to stop swearing?" I ask "yeah. You. No time travel" I immediately go to him "what?! What about Morgan?" I ask worried "we will be careful, it's nothing really. Just go shower and get dressed and we'll head over to them" he says, I pretty much run falling on the way.
Tony drives us there we pull up to the compound, he rolls down his window "why the long face? Let me guess he turned into a baby" Tony says to Steve I laugh "among other things, yeah. What are you doing here?" Steve replies "it's the EPR paradox instead of pushing lang through time, you might've wound up pushing time through lang. it's tricky. Dangerous. Somebody could have cautioned you against it" Tony says "you did" Steve says "oh did I? Well thank god I'm here regardless. I fixed it. A fully functional time space GPS. I just want peace. Turns out resentment is corrosive, and I hate it" Tony says "me too" Steve says "aww smile" I say taking a picture "perfect!" I exclaim they give me 'wtf' looks and Tony faces back to Steve "we got a shot at getting these stones but I gotta tell you my priorities, bring back what we lost I hope yes. Keep what I found, I have to at all costs. And maybe not die trying. Would be nice" Tony says walking up to Steve "sounds like a deal" Steve says shaking his hand "sorry I need to go now I'm not sober enough for Stony" I say giggling
I go inside to grab a water I needed to be sober for this. Everyone spread out to grab the rest of the team nebula and rocket arrived first after receiving message from Rhodes, then Thor and then Clint the whole team was here.
We gather around the Time Machine ready to watch Clint for his test run "alright Clint we're going in three..two..one." He disappears from the platform he arrives back seconds later on the floor grunting we run to him Nat helping him up "hey, hey look at me. You okay?" She asks "yeah yeah. It worked. It worked." Clint says
We gather in the office to go through when we've seen stones in our lives "okay so the how works, now we gotta figure out the when and where. Almost everyone in this room has had an encounter with at least one of these six infinity stones" Steve explains "or substitute the word 'encounter' for damn near been killed by one of the 6 infinity stones" Tony says "well I haven't...but i don't even know what the hell you're all talking about" Scott says "regardless, we only have enough pym particles for one round trip each and these stones have been in a lot of different places throughout history" Bruce says "our history, so not a lot of convenient spots to just drop in, yeah?" Tony says "which means we have to pick our targets" I say "correct" Tony replies "so let's start with the Aether..." we talk through each one with different people.
Me, Nat, Bruce and Tony are lying around trying to figure out the best years. "That time stone guy.." Nat says "doctor strange..." I say "yeah what kind of doctor was he?" Nat asks "ear nose throat meets rabbit from hat" Tony says "nice place in the village though" Bruce says "yeah on Sullivan street?" Tony asks "mmm bleeker street." Bruce says "wait he lives in New York?" Nat asks "no he lived in Toronto" Tony says sarcastically "uh yeah on bleeker and Sullivan. " Bruce says "have you been listening to anything?" Tony asks Nat "guys, if you pick the right year there are three infinity stones in New York" I say popping my head up "shut the front door" Bruce says
"Alright we have a plan. Six stones, three teams, one shot." Steve states as we all look at the screens.
