Part 42 - Names?

5 Months Later
Me and Tony were out shopping and had stopped at a shawarma place as Tony absolutely loved it. "So have you thought on names?" He asks, I take a sip of my tea "sort of... Arella Laufeyson if it's a girl and boys I'm not sure... we spoke on a couple but none stuck" I say, he nods "well better hope it's a girl then!" He says "Nat wants it to be a girl, Thor wants it to be a boy, everyone's guessed different. The only one who will know is Friga" I say, Tony hums "yeah true that" we finish up and pay the bill.

As I get outside I feel a trickle go down my leg "so where to now I'm not finished getting mysterious baby their stuff" he says walking ahead clasping his hands together, I realises I'm not with him and walks back holding my arm "you ok?" He asks "I think my water just broke..." I say nervously "oh..." he says looking down to my little trickle of water down my legs "OH?!, are you for real tony!" I shout at him "what... what do you want me to do?!" He shouts back "CALL LOKI" I shout I feel a sharp pain "AGGH" I shout "ok ok jeez I'll call... hi reindeer, umm your wife is very angry and not pleasant right now, could you maybe make your way to us.." Tony says to Loki "the BAGs" I say "oh yeah the bags... wait what do you need bags for" he asks "My hospital bags... dimwit!" I say to him angry honestly men. "Oh! And rude y/n not cool" he replies, he puts his phone down and holds me. "You know I don't know how pepper dealt with you with Morgan, you are so not helpful!" I say to him "glow bug I am very helpful, I just haven't ever had a human being exit my below area before" he says smug "shut up!" I say, he just laughs in response.

Loki appears with the bags "darling, you ok?" He asks holding onto me "hmm hm, think so the contractions are getting quicker though..." I say, he nods he picks me up "Tony grab the bags and hold my shoulder" Loki says, Tony nods and does as told "now you listen?!" I say, Tony just smirks "asshole" I say.

We teleport to the hospital making a nurse jump "AH" she yells "she's in labour" Loki explains "oh, oh ok right. Follow me" she says confused. She leads us into a room and Loki lays me down on the bed "AHH" I shout at the sudden pain "I'll go get a midwife" the nurse says running out the room. "Loki holds my hand and strokes my hair "darling your gonna do so well" he says smiling, I give him a soft smile back when that pain returns "AHH" I scream loudly "I SWEAR DOWN IF NO ONE COMES AND HELPS MY WIFE I WILL STAB ALL OF YOU!" Loki tells towards the door, I laugh a little groaning in pain "lo you can't stab people" I say giggling "I will in a minute" he replies "No no stabbing I'm here, sorry!" The midwife says there's about 3 of them. She checks to see how dilated I am "8cm, almost there dear" she says calmly "AHHH" I scream "y/n, your doing so well" Loki says, I have tears spill from my eyes "I can't do this!" I yell at him "yes, yes you can! You've been tortured, abused, stabbed, burnt and you even died. You are not giving up y/n" he says sternly, I nod my head. "AHH" I shout AGAIN, the midwife checks "ok it's time, start to push when you feel the pressure" she says I nod, I suddenly feel the urge and go for it. I push as hard as possible screaming and crying, I was exhausted "come on darling, I believe in you. Bring our baby into the world" Loki says I quickly do some breaths and push again, I was in agony. My body felt so tired. That was until I heard a cry.

The midwife held the baby and placed it on my chest "it's a boy" she says walking away to write notes down. I look down at him in awe and so does Loki "you did it" he whispers kissing my forehead. "What do we call him?" I ask "how about Tyrion" Loki says, I nod "I love it" I say looking down at the little boy on my chest. In this moment all I felt was joy, he was truly perfect.

When I felt my vision blur and felt dizzy suddenly "I don't... I don't feel right, take him" I say to Loki as I try and sit up I see a pool of blood in the bed I stay there shocked for a moment, Loki looks to where I am "HELP! NOW!" He screams out towards the door "darling?" I hear Loki say

Lokis POV
I see the doctors and nurses rush in they lead me out of the room and I see through the window them starting to work on her. I see Tony in the hall suddenly stand up and come over "the baby's here!" He says cheerfully, I just look into the room stood still I couldn't move "Loki? What's ha-" Tony goes to say as his gaze follows mine "what's happened?" He asks "I - I... I don't know" I say, I look down at the little boy in my arms "she delivered him and she was fine... but she suddenly just said she didn't feel right, there was blood everywhere..." I say shocked, I couldn't wrap my head around it. The woman I loved was laying there almost lifelessly.

After some time a nurse asked me to come with her to check over Tyrion, I was reluctant but Tony said he'd call if anything happened. I follow the nurse and she takes him to weigh and clean up. "What happened to my wife" I ask her quietly, she turns to me and looks sympathetic "she haemorrhaged, she experienced retained placental tissue, her placenta didn't separate and it caused a huge bleed..." she states, I look towards Tyrion "and will she be ok?" I ask, she looks as though she's contemplating answering me "if they've caught it in time she should be fine" the nurse says "and if not?" I ask knowing the truth but I needed to hear it "it could be fatal..." she says. I just pace back and forth "are you almost done?" I ask wanting to get back to y/n "almost... here take this as well. He'll want to be fed" she says handing me Tyrion and a bottle, I nod and give her a quick thanks before teleporting back to Tony "anything happen?" I ask him as I start to feed the baby "no... nothing" he says "she haemorrhaged" I say, Tony looks to me for a moment "do you think they got to her in time?" He asks, I shake my head "I don't know"
