CH-27 Papa... ~

- Purnima POV -

As i was about to go towards her to asked about it, that's when i heard the door bell ringed.

So instead of going towards her, i turned my steps towards the main door and opened it and my gaze went on... Him.

" Papa!!... आप यहाँ ओर तो ओर अपने call तक नही किया । "

" Papa!!... You are here and you didn't even call me . "

I said, and bend a little forward and touched his feet; for blessing.

He placed his hand on my head for a moment and withdraw it back, then i stood back and took his bag, which he was carrying.

" आइए... " , as he stepped inside, i closed the door and began to walk behind him, he sat on the couch.

" come... "

I placed the bag on the table, beside the couch and went towards the kitchen to take a glass of water for him, as he was looking very tired.

" तू बता नहीं सकती थी की पापा आज आ रहे हैं!! "

" You could not have told me that Papa is coming today !! "

I questioned her instantly as i entered inside the kitchen, in a little high and anguish tone.

" sorry yaar, मुझे भी कहा पता था की uncle आज आ रहे है। वो तो सुबह- सुबह जब aunty का call आया, तब मेरी नींद खुली और जब मैंने call pick किया तब aunty पूछने लगी की uncle पहुंचे या नहीं । तभी जाके मुझे पता लगा... "

" Sorry yaar, I also did not knew that uncle is coming today. I woke up early in the morning when aunty called me and when I picked the call, aunty started asking whether uncle has arrived or not. Only then did i know... "

She said while this whole time her focus was only on the breakfast she was preparing for us.

" but atleast you should wake me up so that i can also helped you in preparing all this.." , i said a little angrily and walked past her to filled a glass with water.

" it's nothing like what you think, i did not wake you up because your were in deep sleep and on the top you needs rest, remembered what the doctor said... huhh!, that's why i did not inform you and as far the cooking food is concerned, then let me tell you, i almost finished everything and even prepared the lunch... so you just chill okay... and do not forget to eat your medicines on time. "

She said with a little concerned.

I just nodded lightly and went out, holding the glass filled with water in my hand.

" papa !! " ,  i called him and handed him the glass, and sat beside him on the couch and asked slowly....

" Papa when we will go back to the village ? "

" tomorrow morning " , he replied shortly while drinking water and placed the glass on the table after finishing the water.

I stood up from the couch and picked up the glass from the table and went inside the kitchen.

" So madam, what did uncle said, when are you both going back.. hmm " , She asked while wiping the kitchen counter.

" tomorrow morning " , i said and sighed deeply.
