Star Lost || Kim Seungmin

CH-10: Seungberry

3rd Person's POV:

"So, this is an act?" Seungmin again nodded for the nth time while munching on his precious strawberry. "So, you both will break up if she found someone else?" He again nodded. "Will you guys stop questioning me now?" He said monotonously without looking up from his bowl and they all shut up.

"But we were feeling bored, and we all wanted to question someone like detectives and pass our time." Jisung whined. Seungmin looked up from his bowl, which was given to him by Changbin, and then to the other boys in the room. Chan, Minho, Changbin, Hyunjin, Jisung, Felix and Jeongin were staring at him. "Since how long were you, guys looking at me?"

"Since the beginning. We want proper answers Seungmin." Chan crossed his arms over his chest with seriousness in his voice. They were all currently in the living room of Seo residence, chilling together and having a small sleepover at Changbin's house. The girls were occupying the dorms, so they decided to raid the rich kid's house, although they all were rich, but still.

"You want answers? Sure. Go ahead and ask Minho Hyung why he was kissing Hana Noona and that too in the parking lot of the university AND especially when he was suspended?" He laid back and suddenly some of them started shouting and pointing at Minho, well more precisely Jisung, Felix and Hyunjin, who were present there at that time.

"What?" Chan frowned and looked at Minho, who had gone pale. "W-What?" He sneered at Chan who was looking at him and at the others too. "Wow, I'm still left out even after joining the college. What is going on between you and her, Hyung?" Jeongin questioned and Minho shook his head. "Nothing. Nothing is going on."

"Then why the kiss?" Changbin smirked and Minho glared at him. "It was a dare." They all stopped suddenly. "We didn't give you any dare, or any of your other classmates or friends who can do that." Chan shot at him. "It was a dare by her friends!" He shot back when they were smirking at him and throwing strange looks.

"Her friends? Byeol? Iseul?" He shook his head. "The ones who are her friend in her own department. Don't you know? They gave her a dare to kiss a boy, so she kissed me." He nonchalantly said and relaxed back. "How can she find no one else?" Jisung scowled. "She did, obviously every boy in her department would want to kiss her, but I don't want that." Minho looked down.

"Okay, how did you know?" Hyunjin leaned closer. "I heard from someone, and she agreed, saying that she will kiss someone, not going to tell you the name, so I casually volunteered." "Why in the parking lot though?" Felix enquired. "Because she wasn't comfortable anywhere else. She didn't wanted people to see us, so I took her there."

"But you could just simply help her and say to her friends that she has kissed you. Then why kiss her for real?" Seungmin shot the final and the biggest question. Minho glared while scowling, "Isn't it obvious? I have said many times before too. This was once in a lifetime opportunity and I don't even know if we will end up together or no, but still, I did it. Now shut up you assess and enjoy the movie, which has been abandoned."

They all shut up and turn back to the screen, which displayed the long-forgotten movie and started to concentrate back on it. Chan leaned closer to Seungmin. "I know you tried to divert the topic and I understand that you don't want to talk about it now. But don't think that I will drop it. I'm not saying anything right now, but that doesn't mean I won't from now onwards." He whispered quietly, enough for only him to listen and Seungmin glanced and nodded back at him.

The movie ended and all of them fell dead asleep on the couch. Well, all of them except, Seungmin. He stood up slowly and went to the kitchen to drink some water. He turned and was startled when he saw Chan standing there with crossed arms. "Now, talk."

"So, this is the whole matter." Seungmin nodded. "You sure there is nothing more than that?" Seungmin again nodded. "Why are you guys even doubting that? I already told you I'm over her." Chan sighed. "No, it's just that, since your current crush is very sick so maybe you would want to get back with your ex." He shrugged. "I mean I've seen in movies and dramas that people do want to get back with their exes sometimes when they are not over them."

Seungmin sent a nasty look at him. "Hyung, she cheated on me. I know you guys wondered why I would forgive her, but she felt bad genuinely and properly apologized to me in front of the whole school. Maybe her love was an act, but her apology was not. If she wasn't that sorry then she would have talked to me in private instead of saying sorry in front of everyone and accepting that she did the wrong thing. I accepted her apology and the truth and let go of her. Even if there is still something for her inside me, I won't try ahead because I don't want to get involved with her more than just friends or more precisely classmates."

Chan nodded with pressed lips. "I'm glad you know your feelings and are very sure about it as well. But Seungmin, do take the right action and at the right time. I don't know how much time Jiyeon has or what will be your future with her, but please try to do something which will make you not regret in the future." Seungmin nodded.

"I know what to do, Hyung."
