CH-16: Dating but not dating

3rd Person's POV:

For the first time in months, Jiyeon entered the class without a bad mood. She wasn't annoyed by the studious kid sitting in the front while revising his notes. She wasn't giving a side eyes to the group of girls who were chit-chatting or gossiping about someone or some incident that happened in another department. She wasn't disgusted by the couples sitting in the far corner of the room while either eating each other's faces or just doing lovey-dovey shits. She wasn't irritated by the backbenchers who were being loud as usual. She wasn't even bothered by her own two friends talking with each other as well.

"Hello boys!" She called them cheerfully and plopped down beside Seungmin. "Hey Jiyeon!" Seungmin smiled widely at her with literally heart eyes. Soobin looked at her and waved with confusion after seeing her bright mood. "Hi?" He said, more like a question and Jiyeon paid no heed to him. But then something clicked in him, and he snapped his fingers.

"Are you guys a thing?" He asked with big eyes, remembering that they had a date a day ago. They both looked at him and then back at each other and smiled. "Not yet." Jiyeon said and blushed. She turned back to the front when the professor entered.

Soobin tried to hold in his squeal, but it still came out, thankfully not loud enough for the professor to hear, but it still made some people glance at him with weird gazes, especially the couples who sat close to them. "What are you looking at, huh? We don't give you guys those glances when you are literally displaying a porn show here?" He whispered yelled to them and they turned back to the professor out of embarrassment.

"So, what happened on Saturday? And Jiyeon, why are you so happy and not grumpy suddenly?" He asked when they were out after the first lecture. "Uh, he now knows." She pointed at Seungmin and Soobin immediately understood what she meant. "So, he gave me free therapy and counselling. And now I'm happy!" She smiled widely which made Soobin let out a chuckle as well. "Well, then, finally something good happened."

"So, how long will you receive chemotherapy?" Right now, both of them were walking side to side in the university's garden which was at the quite back. One of the classes of theirs was cancelled. Soobin had to do something, so he left them alone and the pair was walking side to side on the ground while almost holding hands. Their hands touched and they both looked at each other and intertwined their fingers with a shy smile.

"What the heck?" Jisung mumbled while trailing his eyes on the pair. "Well, Seungmin didn't tell us whether they are dating or not. But he is behaving exceptionally nice and kind since Saturday." Felix shrugged. They both were approaching them, but then were pulled to the side, to one of the bushes.

"What the-" "SHHH" Kevin put a palm over Jisung's loudmouth. "Don't interfere, just see." He whispered to them, and they looked back at them and saw them flirting or maybe talking shyly with each other. "What are you doing here?" Felix asked Kevin and saw Sunwoo was also sitting beside him with a 'so done' look. "I am doing my job, spreading rumor. Just clicked a picture of them and now only I have to post it."

Felix facepalmed. "No, you are not doing that shit." He shook his head in disappointment. "But why?" He whined. "Do it." Jisung said and Felix scowled at him. "What?" "Yes. If he starts a rumor, there are chances that it will come true." He reasoned but Felix shook his head violently. "But he started a rumor of Minho Hyung and Hana Noona as well. Look at them now." Felix fought back. "But they are in love with each other? Maybe end up later." Jisung shrugged and Kevin nodded.

"Who will end up with who?" They all jumped at the sudden female voice from behind them. They turned and saw Sohee, Aera and Eunji squatting as well. "Are we playing hide and seek?" Aera asked and Jisung pulled her. "No, we are keeping an eye on Seungmin and Jiyeon- oh, where are they?" Jisung asked and everyone turned to where they were previously and saw no one.

"Searching for us?" They all jumped again with Seungmin's annoyed voice. They saw both of them standing behind them, with Seungmin giving his friends a stern look and Jiyeon, a confused one. "What are you guys doing? I am not a kid that you are spying on me." He shook his head.

"Count me out." Sunwoo raised his hands in surrender and stood up. "I was just dragged by him." He pointed at Kevin and walked away quietly. "Yeah, we were too." Jisung and Felix both said as well. "Well, I was dragged by Aera, who saw her boyfriend doing something and wanted to know what he was doing or in her words I quote, 'I want to say hi to him'." Eunji said and looked at Jiyeon. She looked at the girl, up and down.

"Don't judge." Seungmin interrupted and she shrugged. "I should know what kind of girl my brother is dating. Is it wrong?" She said with a pout, trying to look innocent. "You look like a duckling. And we are not dating yet." He corrected. "You are not? Then what was that flirting earlier?" Felix asked and he shrugged. "We are dating but not dating."

"How does that work?" Eunji scowled. "You don't need to know." Seungmin said. He again held Jiyeon by hands and looked back at them. "Do this kind of thing once again and I am gonna complain against all of you." He said and was about to go when Jisung interrupted. "I thought you would say you will kick our asses."

Seungmin spined back faster than Jiyeon expected him to be and almost stumbled. "I don't like violence." He gave them threatening eyes while signaling towards Jiyeon. They got the signal and kept quiet and nodded. "Yeah, he is right! What are you saying, Jisung?" Aera nudged him with an awkward laugh, and he laughed as well. "Let's go?" He asked Jiyeon and she nodded. He again looked back with a scowl but then left with her. Eunji chuckled when he left.

"He is really in love."
