CH-17: And the real Drama begins

3rd Person's POV:

Jiyeon stopped suddenly when she heard the voice of her roommate and her close friend in the washroom. She was about to come out from the cubicle but stopped.

"Yeah. I feel bad for Jiyeon, though. She is getting caught up in Seungmin's shit for no reason. He is really playing with her feelings." She heard Haring and suddenly she gulped. "I know right. He is using her to get back at Hyunjin. He even went as far as to make others bully Iseul back in middle school." Jiyeon furrowed her eyebrows. Iseul was bullied, she never knew.

"Yeah. He like Iseul, but she liked Hyunjin, so he made her hate him, by making her think that Hyunjin was on her bully's side and even went as far as telling them to bully her more so that he can become her knight in shining armor. But she refused his help and changed schools." Harin said with distaste.

"You know why he is hitting on Jiyeon? Because she is Hyunjin's first girlfriend. Obviously, he will have a soft spot for her, since she was the first person whom he liked. I bet he is doing that so that either Hyunjin will try to ditch Iseul so that he can be with her or maybe so that Iseul will feel uncomfortable around Jiyeon and will break up with him, making her available for him." Sumin said and Jiyeon was having an inner turmoil of thoughts.

"I bet the second one. Because I don't think that Hyunjin has any feelings for her anymore. Have you seen him literally looking like a lovesick puppy whenever Iseul is around? And how can you compare Jiyeon and Iseul? No offence to Jiyeon, but Iseul is much more likable than her. Literally look at her and then Jiyeon!" Harin's statement made her gulped. She was right, and Jiyeon felt it.

"Anyways, I am always in for the drama. But it will be very wrong for Hyunjin and Iseul if they don't get to know about Seungmin's thoughts and plans for them." Sumin nodded. "But how are you so sure that Seungmin really like Iseul?" Jiyeon heard a third female voice, which was unmistakenly of Hyejin.

"Seungmin have aways like Iseul. Back when she was a loser, and now too when she is a queen. It's just he never approached her because Hyunjin was always there. But now it's all getting into his head. Just think about it, there are many girls whom he can date, but why only Hyunjin's ex? Why the only girl whom he should have avoided because she and his best friend had a past? No one in their right minds will do this, unless they gain something from it. Just think about it." Jiyeon thought.

She realized how much Seungmin is fond of Iseul and he has talked about Iseul to her. She remembered how Seungmin sighed when he told them about Hyunjin's and Iseul's engagement. Back then she thought he sighed because he was relieved, but now she is realizing that he sighed because he was hurt or was annoyed.

"And what did Seungmin did to Iseul? I mean what did he said to the bullies which made them bully her?" This question perked her interest. "About that-" Sumin sighed. "Okay, first of all. We were some of the people who bullied her in the past. But we were forced by our seniors, Chanji and Sunhee. They both didn't like Iseul and they bullied her. They basically bullied everyone, but Iseul was their main target because they both were very good friends with Hyunjin, but he left them when he met Iseul.

They blamed Iseul and bullied her. But one day, Hyunjin talked with them and us and they made a deal with him that Iseul and no one will be bullied if he agrees to leave her and hang out with them. Hyunjin and his family had a very respectful status in the school, that is why they mainly wanted that. He agreed and did as asked, in a very hurtful way. Iseul got the wrong idea and then stopped hanging out with everyone and only studied so that she can switch schools.

Seungmin saw this as a very good opportunity and then went to the other bullies of hers and told them to bully Iseul freely since the other group, which was ours, won't bully her anymore. They started to bully her and only Hana, our senior, who went to the same school as well, will save her and sometimes Seungmin will also be there. But he was the one who told them to bully her." Jiyeon's eyes were wide in shock.

"He is very mean, very savage and disrespectful. But when he is front of Jiyeon, he behaves very well. Haven't you seen him? The face he makes whenever someone else sits on his seat, but when it's her, he smiles. Never in a million years I have seen him smile at someone, except Iseul." Sumin ended and now Jiyeon thought back to what happened in the garden as well. She remembered Jisung's and other's shocked and horrified faces and bit her lips. How can she be so ignorant?

She stepped out when she heard them leaving the washroom after gossiping for a few more seconds. She washed her hands and dried them while thinking what she should do with this information. She sighed.

"Even if I like him and he is wrong, should I support him?"
