A/N: I want to get to the time skip already and I keep deleting chapter ten but not this time I hope.
3 months later
"Frankie asked me to give this to you," Jude remarked, placing a note on my desk.
"Why couldn't he do it?" I asked.
Jude shrugged and settled into his desk, one row away from mine. "The only thing I know," he remarked, "is that he likes you."
Hold on, does Frankie like me? Oh, it's likely just as friends.
"What do you mean about that ?" I questioned.
He muttered something under his breath before turning to me with a smile. "Forget what I said and just do what the no—"
"Mr. Dylan, I am trying to conduct a lesson, and yet you are engaged in conversation with Ms. Romero. It must be significant for you to disrupt my class," Mr. Staub stated, who teaches business at the school.
Jude rolled his eyes upon noticing the entire class's gaze fixed on him. "I was merely inquiring if Maria had the notes from the last class, as I desperately needed them, and to my astonishment, she did," he explained.
"I'm giving you a warning, but next time it will be detention if I catch you talking while I'm teaching," Mr. Staub said before returning to the lesson.
"Every time he speaks or moves, his toupee slips off his bald head. It's obvious to everyone that he has no hair, so why hide it?" Jude said, making me laugh.

After school, I headed to the park as the note mentioned Frankie wanted to meet me there.
I glanced around and then noticed him seated on a park bench, strumming his guitar.
I approached, and as he caught sight of me, a smile spread across his face.
"And here I was, thinking you wouldn't come," Frankie said.
I took a seat beside him on the bench and smiled. "So, here I am. Why did you ask me to meet you in the park?" I inquired.
"I need your opinion on this song; it's something I'm not ready to share with my brothers yet, especially Jude, because I know they'll make jokes about it," Frankie replied.
"Isn't that bad?" I inquired.
"No, I wouldn't say it is, but let me know what you think," he said, then strummed a note on his guitar.
"Oh thinkin' about all our younger years
There was only you and me
We were young and wild and free
Now nothing can take you away from me
We've been down that road before
But that's over now
You keep me comin' back for moreBaby you're all that I want
When you're lyin' here in my arms
I'm findin' it hard to believe
We're in heaven
And love is all that I need
And I found it there in your heart
Isn't too hard to see
We're in heavenOh once in your life you find someone
Who will turn your world around
Bring you up when you're feelin' down
Yeah nothin' can change what you mean to me
Oh there's lots that I could say
But just hold me now
'Cause our love will light the wayAnd baby you're all that I want
When you're lyin' here in my arms
I'm findin' it hard to believe
We're in heaven
Yeah love is all that I need
And I found it there in your heart
It isn't too hard to see
We're in heaven
I've been waitin' for so long
For somethin' to arrive
For love to come along
Now our dreams are comin' true
Through the good times and the bad
Yeah I'll be standin' there by you, oh!
And baby you're all that I want
When you're lyin' here in my arms
I'm findin' it hard to believe
We're in heaven
And love is all that I need
And I found it there in your heart
Isn't too hard to
We're in heaven, heaven
Whoa, oh, oh!
You're all that I want
You're all that I need"
After the final note, he gazed at me, awaiting my opinion on the song.
But the intriguing aspect is that it sounds like a love song, suggesting he wrote it about someone. It makes one curious about who that might be.
"The song sounds really good, but who is the special person you wrote it about?" I asked.
Frankie gave a nervous chuckle. "It's just this girl from our school, but I don't think she likes me in that way."
"Are there any signs that indicate she doesn't like you in that way?"
Frankie shrugged. "Not really, to be honest, but we've been hanging out for almost four months now."
Oh.....
"What's holding you back from asking her out?"
"Her saying no is the reason."
"Well she could say yes."
"Yes, she might say that, but I will be okay with any answer she provides."
