Seven.

Rae's POV

I flew back to Monaco after the race. Lando didn't come with me because he had to be at the next race.

Unfortunately, I couldn't go with him because I had to be at the Monaco hotel. I had to do the monthly business meeting.

Lando couldn't take Jace with him, and we still didn't have a babysitter, so I had to take him with me.

Not very professional, but it was what it was.

Jace immediately ran to Juliette as soon as we walked in the hotel. "Auntie Jules" he yelled.

"My favorite man" she laughed, kneeling down and picking him up. "So are you here for the meeting?"

"No, I want chocolate donuts" he laughed, wrapped his arms around her neck and hugged her.

He definitely had a little crush on Juliette and to be honest, who wouldn't.

"Are you ready?" She looked at me. I nodded a little.

She put Jace down, put her hand in her purse, as if she was searching for something.

"Here, I think you need this" she said as she handed me some concealer and patted the area under her eyes. "You look tired"

I chuckled as I took the concealer. I was grateful for a friend who would just tell you if you looked like shit.

Juliette was that kind of friend.

The business meeting went fine. Discussed a few topics, including putting chocolate donuts on the breakfast menu.

Which made Juliette chuckle a little because she knew exactly who's idea that was.

Little Jace.

Guess they had to get used to his idea's because he was probably gonna be their boss when he was old enough.

Juliette and I had nothing else to do today, so we went back to her place because Zayden was there as well.

I liked him, he was also very good with Jace.

We were sitting on the couch together, while Jace was watching Mickey Mouse, we caught up on everything that has happened lately.

"How was the race? Were you able to spend some time with Lando?" Zayden asked. He knew Lando and I had some difficulties.

"Yes we actually had some private time" I winked.

"And did you tell him abou-" Juliette asked. "No, I didn't" I interrupted her. Didn't want to talk about it again.

She didn't like that, she wanted me to tell him but it honestly didn't matter anymore.
It would only make him sad.

Juliette rolled her eyes and got up. "I am going to the bathroom" she announced. She probably didn't want to look too annoyed.

"So I have to ask you something" Zayden said, looking behind him to make sure Juliette left. "I want to ask her to marry me"

"Oh my-" I was so excited, so happy for Juliette. She deserved it. Deserved it all.

"But I need you to come buy a ring with me, I want it to be absolutely perfect and no one knows her better than you do"

"I would love that!" I tried to keep my voice down. "Just text me when you need me and I'll fly over"

I would do everything, would drop anything for her.

"Do you know how you're gonna ask her?"

"I have some pretty good ideas" he nodded with a smile.

I was so happy for Juliette, couldn't wait to hear every little detail.

I guess she was getting the romantic proposal I was dreaming about.
Wish Lando planned stuff like this to ask me. Wish he bought me a ring.

But he gave me Jace and that was everything I could ever wish for anyways.
