Part 65

Outskirts of Mumbai.
Night time.
Arpita is tossing and turning in her bed the guilt is getting the best of her after her interaction with Mansi( sister)

Flashback.
Arpita was passing by although she's present in appearance her mind is absent because of the going investigation about her and also Karan hasn't been answering her calls.

"Sister......someone are just mean....they should rot in hell for all I care," said Mansi.
Arpita was still lost in thoughts in her current situation and crisis.
"Sister are you even listening to me?" Mansi asked flipping her hands.
"What?!" Arpita asked.
"I was saying that the nurse who kidnapped Mr and Mrs Oberoi's child doesn't she even have a conscious..... right now the couple are really struggling....I bet karma hits her bad....she rots in hell for all I care!" Mansi responded.
Hearing those words made fear ran down her spine from her own sister she thought she was monster but didn't know that desperate times call for desperate measures.
She spoke out of the blue.

"Mansi... .how can you say such....maybe the nurse was desperate at the time," replied Arpita.
"What do you mean.....why are you defending her?" Mansi asked confused.
She pretended her phone was ringing.

"Excuse me.....I have to take this call," replied Arpita guilt catching up with her.

She went into her room.

Mansi.
"That was weird and strange," replied Mansi to herself.

Arpita's room.
"What do I do.....even my own sister sees me as a monster.... should I confess....no I can't....am not willing to go to jail," Arpita said crying her eyes out.

Present time.
"Let me go.....get some milk from kitchen....it always help me feel better," said Arpita to herself.

She went to the kitchen.

She poured milk in a glass and started drinking coincidentally Mansi comes.

"What are you doing here this late?" Mansi asked.

Arpita was shocked speechless.....but she thought to answer back with question.

"I should be the one asking the questions here?" Arpita answered.

"Me....well....you know I have a test next week....so I was studying....am done....so I thought to quench my thirst....with some juice I left in the refrigerator," replied Mansi.

"Ooh....okay....I am going to bed.... goodnight," replied Arpita avoiding been further interrogated because Mansi was inquisitive.

She was about to leave when Mansi touched her shoulders.

"Arpita....of late....you look stressed....just wanted to let you know....if you want to talk to someone about your problems....am here....okay," said Mansi.

She turned her back.

"You don't need to worry....I can face my battles all own my own....but thanks baby sister....it really means a lot....I love you.... goodnight," said Arpita leaving.

She went to her room.

" Arpita...how can you be so stupid...you had a chance and you blow it....to tell her the truth.....what if worse she hears truth from a strange...... already she hates the nurse,"Arpita said to herself.

She cried while thinking the worst of herself.
