Part 78

Outskirts of Mumbai.
Police Station.
A woman is on a prison cell sitting down when warden tells her to come there is a visitor to see her she presumes it's her sister Mahi because she visits frequently she's happy and follows the warden and quickly runs to her ( please note chair is turned backwards)

The warden leaves her to her visitor she's about to go and hug her when the unexpected happened the chair back flips and she is shocked to see Karan .

He stands up and goes to her.

"Shocked.....Arpita," said Karan.
He started touching her face and hair.
"I got to admit.....I missed you so much.... beautiful," replied Karan.
Arpita moved aside.
"What are you doing here.....Karan?" Arpita asked.
"Okay let me explain......have you ever heard the phrase.....walls have ears....we have ears right here in the cell," explained Karan.

Flashback.
Kamini is sunbathing when her phone rings.
It's Happu.
"Yes.....I hope you have good news for me....I hope that's why you called me," said Kamini.
"Yes ma'am.....I have juice news.....the girl.....you mentioned to me about.....what's her name?" Happu asked.
"You mean..... Arpita..... what about her?" Kamini asked removing her sunglasses.
"Yes....that's her name.....she's busy working with the inspector on the case of Oberoi's," explained Happu.
Kamini was pissed off and hanged up the call.
"Ma'am....are you still there?" Happu asked.
He didn't get a response.
"Maybe.....her battery died," said Happu to himself.

She calls Karan.

"Karan," said Kamini fumed with anger.
"Yes....ma'am.....," said Karan interrupted by her.
"Come here in 5 minutes!" Kamini commanded.

"Idiot..... useless..... stupid fellow," said Kamini pissed off and threw her phone angrily and broke into 1000 pieces.

Apartment.
Kamini's room.
Karan came in and she started throwing things to him.

"Karan.....how could you be such an idiot.....but what can I expect from....such an idiot.....you have done it today....am screwed up....why couldn't you just get rid of her.....over and done with," lamented Kamini.
He came closer to her.
"Ma'am..... don't worry.....I still have a plan up my sleeve....give me another chance to prove myself to you," replied Karan trying to appease her.
"Fine.....am giving you a last chance.....if you blow this off.....then instead of her......I'll kill you instead," said Kamini.
"Thank you....ma'am....I promise I'll not disappoint you," responded Karan.
"Now get out of sight....or I'll do something....I may regret," Kamini said.

Karan left.

Police Station.
"Police?!" Arpita asked confused.
"Beautiful....do you still believe in our police force.... anyways.....that's not why am I.....I came here you to warn you......rather drop everything....or else....your sister......life is my hands.....so do we have a deal," said Karan .

Out of nowhere she started bursting into laughter mischievously he was confused because he knew for sure she would start begging for his mercy and pleading.

"You should be miserable....why aren't you miserable.....you're laughing?" Karan asked.
"Actually do you honestly think am a fool or something........that I'll just surrender myself in a silver plate......and I know the people am dealing with.......(tsts)...... okay let me go to the chase......I know very well you and your madam are very cunning.....so I told the inspector that I'll only tell the truth if she gives police protection to mahi..... because I knew if you found am involved....you'll take advantage of her......so if you lay a scratch on her.....the police will found out and the next thing you and I will be prison mates.....and maybe you're beloved madam too.....men I am a genius.....I deserve an Oscar," explained Arpita.

Karan was left with an egg on the face truly tables had turned.

"Hey madam.....you may take me now am done," shouted Arpita to warden.

The warden came and tied handcuffs on her and they went.

"Bye,bye......Karan..... remember to think very carefully to what I said," said Arpita leaving.
