Earlier that day.
Karan and Kamini arrive at the police station.

Police Station.
They go to the receptionist.
"Excuse me ma'am....what may I help you with," said receptionist office.
"Hi....I want to see officer Happu," replied Kamini.
"Hold on a sec.... I'll inform him....what's your name ma'am?" Responded Receptionist.
"Don't you know who she is.... don't you read newspapers and watch Tv," replied Karan rudely.
Kamini goes to him.
"Karan.... don't embarrass me here...behave yourself...we don't want to create attention to ourselves," said Kamini whispering.
"Sorry ma'am," said Karan.
"I hope so," Kamini replied.

"Ma'am.... your name?" Receptionist asked scared.
"It's okay sweetheart....Kamini," replied Kamini.
"Thanks," receptionist replied.

Conversation between Happu and receptionist.
"Tell me....Ruby," said Happu.
"Actually sir....Miss Kamini has asked to see you," replied Ruby.

"What does a prominent business woman like her want to meet me?" Happu asked himself.

"Okay....send her in," said Happu.
"Ma'am.....you may go in," replied receptionist.

Karan and Kamini entered  his office.

Happu 's office.
"Have a seat....ma'am," said Happu.
"Thanks," replied Kamini.
"Sorry we don't have an extra seat for the gent," replied Happu.
"It's okay.... he'll stand," replied Kamini.
"So ma'am....such an influential person has come to see me....to what favor do I get this visit?" Happu asked.
"I like you officer....you're smart....you go direct to the point....anyway I want you to be my ears and eyes in the station," replied Kamini.
"Meaning?!" Happu asked.
"What am trying to say is....I want you to spy on Inspector Rajesh for me....in his current case...... everything....if he has made a breakthrough.... caught anyone....I mean everything," explained Kamini.
"But why do you want me to spy on my own boss?" Happu asked.
"The less you know the better....so will you help me or not?" Kamini asked.
"I don't know ma'am....what you want me to do....is risky....what if am caught....can jeopardize my career and job,"  responded Happu.
"Karan....hand the gentleman...my cheque book," said Kamini.

Karan handed him the cheque book.

"I have done my research on you well...for the last ten years you're still stuck as an officer without even getting the promotion you've always walked for and deserve....think about carefully....if you don't want the cheque book...will take our leave...thank for your time,''Kamini manipulated.

Karan and Kamini started leaving when Happu stopped them.

"Wait...ma'am...I think I have decided," Happu replied.

"Bullseye.... jackpot," said Kamini thoughtfully.

"So do we have a deal officer?" Kamini asked.

"Yes we do....I am in," replied Happu.

"Music to my ears....Karan here will handle the money transfer and what not," replied Kamini.

"Okay," replied Happu.

They left.

Kamini's penthouse.
"Everything went well ma'am," said Karan.
"It was perfect....I will be now one step ahead of Pinky and Shakti....I will be able to know everything....about the pesky pest.... Arpita...let the games begin," replied Kamini.
