Qiu Ye happily walked with her mother for a while, and in less than 5 minutes, they arrived at the tofu shop where her mother worked. Before about 10 o'clock every morning, Qiu's mother would deal with the remaining tofu, clean up the tofu shop, and soak the beans for the next day.

Qiu Ye secretly cheered himself up outside the tofu shop. He was sure that he could make his first pot of gold in this tofu shop, and also create some income for his mother. He couldn't let his mother work hard every day in vain.

Entering the tofu shop, Qiu Ye saw an old-fashioned handmade tofu workshop. The room was damp and there was a drainage ditch on the ground. The only advanced equipment was a bean grinder that the Normal University paid for a few months ago. The rest were traditional tools. There was a big black pot on a big stove, which was used to boil soy milk. In the middle of the room stood a large water tank with a cross hanging on it. On the four corners of the cross were tied square pieces of coarse yarn to form a large net bag. She knew that was the tool for filtering out the bean dregs.

After Mother Qiu came into the room, she let the girl finish by herself first. She picked up the white coat draped over the back of a chair and put it on, changed into rubber boots, and then picked up the water pipe and prepared to clean the millstone.

Qiu Ye watched his mother working, but he couldn't just sit there and watch, so he tactfully found things to do within his ability.
