Shizuka was driving while her hands were tightly gripping onto the steering wheel. Despite her confidence, she was very nervous. She was worried for her childhood friend. She knew Rika-chan should be able to handle herself since she was in the police force and had regular contact with the military. As she drove her eyes glanced around and she couldn't see a single walking corpse even though it had raining a little while ago. So there should be a bunch of them around but there were none. Shizuka decided not to ponder too much on the thought and quickly made her way towards where she had told her friend to wait.
.
Minami Rika was a tanned female with purple hair. She was wearing a black combat suit with a bulletproof vest. She also wore a white choke collar along with shooting glasses. In her hands was her trusted Heckler & Koch PSG-1. The airport that she was defending was overrun by the infected and she had been the only survivor, she had loaded a yacht of one of the dead billionaires with as many supplies as she could before leaving. After a week she found herself on the shores of Tokonosu City. She was currently on the rooftop of one of the office buildings that were near the coast. She had positioned herself on top of the building, keeping a lookout with her scope. She remembered when her call finally went through and reached Shizuka. It was like a heavy burden was lifted off her shoulders when she heard Shizuka's voice however a heavier burden came back when the blonde nurse told her to stay put. She didn't even get to argue with her when Shizuka cut off the line. How the heck would her friend even find, even though she didn't know what building she was in and if she did so what was the guarantee that they wouldn't run into a horde if infected.
Rika: Fuck. This is not looking so good. Where are you Shizuka?
Even with all the doubts Rika would since she knew her childhood friend would find her, no matter what.
.
Shizuka stopped the humvee and took out her phone. She switched on the GPS that Saya had given to her. That girl was incredibly smart in fact she probably thrived in the use of technology like none other. The girl was smarter than she gave herself credit for even though she boasted a lot. A small green dot biped on her phone as she looked at the distance. It was only a few kilometres away. She had been training under Gojo for a few days with the enhancement she had gotten from the cursed energy the distance was nothing not to mention the gruelling training she had endurance her stamina had a drastic increase compared to when it was a week ago before the outbreak.
She moved the humvee and parked it by the side. She made sure to park it in such a way it looked like it had crashed. She had to be smart about this. Gojo had informed her that the world was no longer the same one she knew. The old rules and laws no longer be applied. The only rule that was followed was the survival of the fittest. Human beings will do anything to survive and mixed with the fact that human greed would show its face. They will do anything to get what they want. It was hard for her to accept that however, he gave her an alternative.
"If you want to help others then you need strength. Before the outbreak money was the greatest strength. The more anyone had it the stronger they were. Now in this new world physical strength is valued more to survive"
He had specifically told to her. No one knew this but Gojo had been there for her when the situation finally set in and she had cried all night. He had been there for her, holding on to her to make sure to remain with her. She was forever grateful for that. Shizuka blinked as she realized she had been distracted by her thoughts again even though these were directed towards Gojo and good thoughts. She wondered what kind of food would be his favourite. The entire week she had known and observed him. Gojo.D.Asura seemed to have a large sweet tooth. Maybe he liked some kind of sandwich made of sweet bubs?
