"What? Me? What did i do" branch was getting overwhelmed.
"Nothing, you were perfect branch, you were the best baby brother we ever had" John assures him as he grabbed branch.
"But apparently mom and dad did t see it that way" Clay added.
"You see branch the minute you were born was the best thing ever, when we first saw you...as an egg, you were beautiful and we loved you" Bruce says.
A flashback plays to when the boys were young, they gathered around a crib where branch was just an egg.

"You meant the world to us" Floyd says through the flashbacks
The four boys cooed over the egg, Floyd places his hand on the egg and smiled, spruce turn to Clay both giddy then John gently holds the egg and smushed it against his face nuzzling it.
"But when you were born, one look at you and mom and dad suddenly realized that they... didn't want you" Clay says.
When the egg hatched, branch looked around, he laughed and smiled, John looks up at Rhythm and Melody with glee.
But all they all was disappointed looks on their face, Melody looks at rhythm who made the same look as they look back at branch.
But branch didn't care, she just looked up at them and smiled but when John saw their faces, it made him worry.
"So they decided to give you away" Bruce says.
Young John was eavesdropping when he sees his parents bucking about branch, the the two nodded which made John worry.
"What?" Branch was not only shocked but overwhelmed again.
"Is...is that true, did you guys...hated me?" he turns to his parents who both look guilty.
"Yeah we didn't want mom and dad to give you up, so we stayed with you" John says.
Back to the flashbacks, John takes baby branch out of crib and the other three shied them from his parents, they glared at the parents.
"But when we refused to give you up, dad decided to do thy e next best thing as possible...he decided to leave us with grandma" John continued.
The scene changes with the boys were at their grandmas pod, John holds baby branch as he watched their parents pack, Melody grabbed her bag then left.
Rhythm carried his backpack and turned to John, "you're the oldest John, you're now in charge of lookouts after your brothers, see ya son" he walks out on them.
"Dad wait" John stepped out but all brothers watched as their parents walked out.
John was overwhelmed with sadness but he looks down at baby branch who smiled at him, then John changed his expression to anger.
