They gathered in the hideout, Clay by a board with a drawing of the creature and a drawing of a troll.
"Ok so I been doing a little digging and I found that the creature that bit branch and poopy, it's a type of pest possibly a spider called a twik, the population is rare so it's probably the only one and we know that it inhabits in deep and dark caves" Clay explain
"What about the infection" John asked
"Strong, the venom ILL the victim till their behavior will be just like a twik"

He shows pictures he took in the cave when he went investigating and they see other creatures were infected by the twik the creepy smiles set them off.
"Creepy" John stuttered
"Yeah no kidding" spruce added
"So based on the research me and Laguna found about the twiks, is that the infection has a limit range in size"
The boys exchange looks, "you mean the size can be treated?" John asked
"Well it depends on the the size"
"What do you mean?" Spruce asked
"What I mean is, anyone too big or big enough is immune to it"
He pulls down a chart green on the top, yellow in the middle and red on the bottom.
"Red zone means effective, yellow is perky meaning it may be recoverable but green means safe immune like the cloud people"

"But the cloud are our size" John says
Yeah, but they're made of vapor — not flesh or blood like us. The venom can't latch onto them the same way it does with trolls," he explained, tapping the chart. "The infection needs organic matter to survive — nerves, cells, tissue. Clouds don't have that."
The brothers leaned in closer as Clay pointed at the red section on the bottom of the chart.
"Red zone — fully vulnerable. That's trolls, bergens, and most living creatures that bleed. Yellow zone — partial resistance. Smaller or younger trolls can recover depending on how fast we treat the bite. But the green zone..." he glanced at John, then Branch, "means immune."
