"blockies!" billie squealed as hayley poured the wooden blocks onto the hotel room floor. "yeah, baby!" hayley cooed. "di'saurs too?" billie tilted her head. hayley let out a chuckle and handed billie the purple tupperware container taht was filled with small plastic dinosaurs. billie quickly opened the container and emptied them out next to the blocks. she put her chewelry into her mouth and started gnawing at it. she grabbed darcy, holding her in her non-dominant hand. she grabbed a block and placed it in front of her.

hayley watched billie building her tower with a soft smile. it reminded her of someone. "mommy buiwd too!" billie whined. "right..." hayley shook her head, placing a block in front of her. "no," billie frowned. "i wanted dat one!" she cried. "oh, baby, it's okay," hayley purred. "here you go!" she smiled, handing billie the block, only for billie to throw it at her chest. she let out a sigh as she realized billie's small headspace made her more prone to having a meltdown. "it's okay, baby," she murmured. she stood up and stepped over the dinosaurs. she bent down and lifted billie up from the floor.

"shh, shh, shh," she shushed billie as she sat down on the bed. "it's okay, darling," she hummed. "mommy's not mad at you," she whispered. "how about you give mommy the blocks you don't want?" she inquired. "i 'orry, mommy!" billie sobbed. "it's okay, lovey." hayley muttered, caressing billie's cheeks. "b'ocks." billie sniffled. "you wanna give mommy the blocks you don't want?" hayley asked. "uh-huh!" billie nodded. hayley pressed her lips against billie's nose, kissing it. she set billie down on the floor before sitting down across from her.

she patiently waited as billie handed her blocks. billie put her hands up and flipped them palm to back a few times. "all done giving me blocks?" hayley raised an eyebrow, earning a nod from her regressed client. she gave billie a soft smile and looked down, beginning to build her tower. "raaaaaa!" billie giggled as she made a dinosaur walk on the ground. "a dinosaur!" hayley gasped, pretending to be scared. she picked up a dinosaur and held it between her fingers.

billie let out another roar and crashed her dinosaur into her tower, a giggle following the crashing sound of the blocks. "peas, baby mommy's?" she pouted, pointing to hayley's tower. "go ahead, baby, knock it down!" hayley smiled. she watched billie push the dinosaur into her tower causing it to collapse. billie excitedly flapped her hands as she laughed. "such a happy little girl!" hayley beamed. billie crawled over to hayley and sat down on her lap. "big!" she demanded, pointing to the blocks. "you wanna build a big tower?"

"ya, ya, ya!" billie nodded her head. "you gotta help mommy build it, okay?" hayley said softly. "'cause mommy can't build a big tower alone!" she dragged out, moving all the blocks to one side. billie grabbed a block and set it on the floor. she watched as hayley grabbed a green one, setting it atop of her yellow one. the pair continued placing the bricks on top of each other. billie slowly added another block and watched the tower wobble and collapse. her eyes glossed over, and she let out the saddest sound hayley had ever heard from her. "oh, baby girl..." hayley cooed.

billie leaned forward as heartbroken sobs emitted from her lips. "shh, it's okay, baby." hayley cooed, rubbing billie's back. "mama!" billie wailed. "mommy's right here, baby," hayley murmured, pulling billie up so she was cradling her. "you want mommy to pack away the toys?" she asked. "m-mama!" billie choked out. "does baby wanna play more?" hayley inquired, realizing billie had regressed to a really small age, earning a head shake from her. "can baby help mommy clean the blocks?"

billie cuddled into hayley as she whined. "can mommy lay you in bed?" hayley questioned. billie nodded her head. hayley stood up, carried billie over to the bed, and laid her down. she took billie's chewy necklace off and laid it on the bedside table. "mommy's gonna clean the blocks," she hummed. she narrated everything she did so billie could calm down by hearing her voice. "now mommy's putting the blocks in her bag," she purred as she placed the building block tins in her bag.
