The grass felt ticklish between my fingertips as I sat in the fields, sun beaming down on my glowing skin. I inhale softly, taking in the midday breeze which felt great — especially during springtime.

The ring on my finger glistened in the sunlight, catching my attention. Whenever I took notice of the diamond gracing my hand , I'm always drawn to the fact that I'm a married woman. It made me feel whole and complete. I had accomplished the greatest thing in life — happiness. It's been almost 2 years since we vowed to love each other forever. Like he promised,  he returned to New York for a week and returned to me. This was our new hometown. It was peaceful and a healthy environment to start afresh — which we had done successfully.

I shift my attention to taehyung chasing Eden through the tall flowers. She had become an integral piece in our lives. I'm glad I never abandoned her — she was a great kid who deserved love. Taehyung had grown fond of her too over the past years. She had become a little sibling. Mother Esther allowed her to visit our home now and then , she believed a young couple should have their privacy. "I hope you're counting your blessings ", she said from beside me. "I am", I turn to her. "You're doing great", she smiled. "Thank you, Mother Esther ", I chime.

"Don't thank me just yet. I'm going to have to teach you how to make these", she smiled and continued to knit the tiny pink blanket. "I'm always ready to be a student", I give a toothy smile. "She is unbelievably fast!", taehyung pant as he got to his knees, giving me a kiss on the cheek. He smelled of honey and sweat. "You need a bathe ", I playfully flick forehead. "I'm not done yet", he yelled and glanced over his shoulder at Eden who was breathlessly laughing. "I just wanted to say hi to my favorite girls", he kissed my cheek again before lowering his head to my round tummy, pressing his lips to it. "Daddy's little princess " , he whispered before coming up to kiss my forehead. I could hear Mother Esther giggling, she always spoke about how clingy my husband was — especially when our little angel is due in a month. He was patiently waiting to chase her through the fields.

And I was patiently waiting to count my blessings all over again...
