(no clue what y/n's visa is at, so let's just give her ten days)

LUCKILY ON YOUR SHORT JOURNEY THROUGH THE CITY, YOU HAD FOUND A FEW DIFFERENT BOOKS ABOUT TRANSLATION FROM ENGLISH TO JAPANESE AND VICE VERSA.
so you had been holed in your apartment, bedrotting for the past week or so.
you had been sat in your pyjamas, stuffed in your blankets as you vigorously read through the numerous books.
you couldn't deny you were a fast learner, but damn this was hard. you had been at it for seven days straight and could barely say a few phrases.
you could do the basics of introducing yourself, 'how are you?', 'thank you', 'hello', 'goodbye', but your skills didn't advance much passed that, give or take a few words and phrases you clung onto weakly.
you glanced down at the books, it would be far easier if you had a person to help teach you. for all you know, you could be pronouncing all these things wrong and that would be embarrassing.
you sighed out, thinking of your visa.
you frowned slightly, you only had three or so days left and you didn't particularly fancy your chances of leaving it to the last day to find a game, as much as you'd like to bedrot for another two days.
but as you sat from your bed, you frowned.
you felt pretty strongly that you wouldn't be back in your apartment for quite a while.
the thought was sad, but you huffed away the sad thoughts. you would be back. eventually.
so you picked up your same bag, the one that went with majority of your outfits, and started to stuff it with clothing.
you stuffed multiple outfits in, never wanting to be short of a cute outfit when you were on the run.
your eyes widened suddenly.
as you kept stuffing more and more clothing in the bag, it didn't fill. you could see the clothes in the bag, all of them, but it looked, and felt, as though there was a singular outfit in the bag.
you gaped slightly, mouth wide.
your head tilted,
this some mary poppins shit, the fuck? who tf undetectable extension charmed my bag??
but, really, you couldn't complain.
you had no clue how it happened, but you were grateful.
you had no clue how a lot of things were happening, really, so what was another infinite bag?
you grinned bright, dashing around the house to pack every little thing you might need.
you packed pretty much all of your clothes as well as a few extra bags in case this one didn't match with a particular outfit. you packed the entirety of your deodorant, perfume and body spray collection as you refuse to smell bad, especially packing your three different eilish no.1 perfumes, your absolute favourite scent. you pack an enormous amount of shoes, mostly sneaker-type shoes but even a pair of heels or two incase the situation required it.
the essentials, basically.
you also packed plenty of snacks and two bottles of water which you could fill up continuously as well as plenty of sanitary products.
you could stay in the outfit you had originally picked out since you had hand washed it earlier that week and it was nice and clean now.
after all of that, you smiled in accomplishment. your apartment looked ransacked. you grinned sheepishly at your own actions, finally stuffing the few translation books into your bag.
you scanned your apartment with a deep sigh, a light frown making its way onto your face.
you would miss the place, it had become your sense of comfort in the past few years. but you'd be back.
you smile back at the apartment as you exit the door and finally the building, looking up with a smile at the building you had made your home.
