YOU SPLIT FROM THE REST OF THE GROUP, ENTERING THE LOUNGE ROOM SECTION.
your idea was to try and get as few things as you could while trying to get to your 0.
you stumbled across some bougie looking lamp, it was tall and motion activated.
you checked the price tag, '$365'
your eyebrows shot up,
prices must be seriously over exaggerated
you take in a deep breath, typing that into your in-phone calculator, subtracting 55 and leaving you with 315. then you had to round the 3 to the nearest hundred, which was 300. the total price for that item was 300.
you instantly regretted using a lamp, because that item was heavy and if you wanted a chance at keeping it you'd have to drag it around.
you groaned slightly.
you could always toy with the fact nobody else would touch it but weren't sure if you wanted to risk it. really, whatever you picked you had to be able to drag back to the registers to scan at the end.
you huffed, picking to drag it along with you. it wasn't the craziest thing you could have chosen anyway. as you looked up, you could see someone dragging a whole ass fridge. you blink owlishly.
okay, then..
deciding to stay in that area, you glanced towards the television, typing the price in your phone quickly.
it was '448', you typed that into your calculator, minusing 50. '398'.
rounded up was 400. you bit your lip, your number was too low by far.
you pondered quickly, wondering whether it'd be easier to make up one or two hundred. the less items the better, but would you be able to round up exactly $100? at least with 200 you could round up a bit more.
deciding on keeping the lamp, you shuffled into the kitchen section, spotting a group of three people arguing over a register. they were just wasting time.
