tension hung high. still, the man had his collar off alongside the two of you, but he had lost his confidence from only moments earlier.
it was obvious who the alliances were, and who was left alone.
you and 'niragi', the man who had approached you and his buddy, and then two people who didn't seem to know each other. an elderly man, and a young woman.
at least one of the alliances would break.
you bit your lip, nervous.
you weren't sure if you really trusted niragi, but he had taken your collar off. it couldn't hurt to stick by him for the time being.
you made an inconspicuous glance at the elderly man, who slowly approached the other man without a collar, whom of which had tossed his collar haphazardly to the ground.
he didn't notice as the man crouched slowly, picking up the collar as quietly as he could before pouncing, snapping it around the man's neck.
the young woman gasped as the man raged instantly, turning back and shoving the elderly male, who's head collided with a bench.
you gasped softly, hand reaching for your mouth.
blood seeped from a wound on the back of the man's head. the young woman crouched, shaking the man in a panic.
you tugged yourself from niragi's grip, crouching beside the male. you pressed two fingers to his neck, turning up and shaking your head.
the girl ran, being sick in the far corner of the room.
you gave her a sympathetic glance, this must have been her first game and she was already facing the horrors of mankind. that man had died by the hands of another, not by the games.
you frowned, feeling sympathetic as you shuffled back over to niragi.
1 down, five to go.
if you and niragi kept your collars off, there were only three different people who could live.
