TRIGGER WARNING: Graphic description of Gore, Violence

☘☘☘

When I saw the blood that dripped when the knife pierced his skin, my grip on the hilt loosened. My hands started to shake as panic set into my chest upon seeing the wound I inflicted on his beautiful tattooed skin.

My hands started shaking and I couldn't hold onto the knife anymore. It fell and slid down on the bed, staining the white sheet with red–Karma's blood.

"I-I'm sorry." My eyes frantically searched for something to cover his wound.

I didn't feel any pain so I got up again. Before I could run to the bathroom, a set of arms hugged me, stopping me.

"Sonya," Karma's voice called. "It's okay."

I know it's not okay.

"No, Karma." "W-We have yo treat y-your wound."

I tried to free myself from his embrace but he just hugged me tighter. My breath became shaky and shallow. His arms encased me in a tight embrace, holding my whole being.

"K-Karma..." I tried to pull his arm but I couldn't put any strength onto my hands.

"Shh..." He buried his face on my hair. "It's fine. I'm fine."

"N-No– No you're not," I countered him, gasping for air. "Blood. You're— You're b-bleeding. I hurt you..."

I hurt him. I tried to kill him. I tried to kill Karma.

"Sorry," I sobbed. "I'm sorry..."

He held me and pulled me to face him. When our faces met again, I saw no hint of pain in his eyes. They were looking at me gently just like how he would always look at me. His gaze was soft, and his lips–they was smiling.
