Draco.

If someone had told me that I was going to be deep in the forest surrounded by something that made my hair stand up, that sent chills down my back from fear, I would have told them they were nuts. If someone told me that I was to fall in love with Hermione Granger I would have laughed in their face and then beat them up for ever suggesting that idea.  But here I am Hermione silently asleep on the ground near my feet, my wand is out and I turn around and around ready to attack when I need to.  I know if I attack too early then I will actually make myself vulnerable, hence why I am waiting for them to move first.

I am scared, frightened for what is to happen, and then I see from the left side movement, a screeching noise is heard and then I finally see what it is that has surrounded us, spiders, big fat spiders, I have heard of them before even seen them in books but I have never come face to face with them.  Believe me when I say that I thought the dementors scared me, but have a big group of spiders heading towards you well that is another thing, if they were to get you, it would be a slow and painful death.  I heard they squeeze their victims and wound them into their silk webs forming a cocoon around the victim, where they are helpless because their venom paralysis you.

Now I know what I'm up against I know that there is no way I can attack all of them by myself, I point my wand skyward and yell "Protego Maxima!" The words leave my mouth, a bluish white light leaves my wand, filling the sky above us bright.  Immediately a bright bluish white barrier surrounds us, stopping some of them from entering, when they hit into the barrier I heard the sizzle and watch as some disintegrate on the spot. A few had entered before I had finished saying the spell, I should have said it sooner, but fear stopped me.

I stumble back in fright of the spiders that have entered, up close is a very frightening experience. I fall over Hermione, her eyes open and looks at me in shock. "Draco what are you doing here......" Hermione says, but stops when she hears the scratching of the spiders heading towards us. "What the hell is going on?" Hermione says, grabbing out her wand, and I look at her frightened all spells that were in my head are now gone, it's blank, fear has taken over, I can't even answer her. I am paralysed in fear, on the ground just staring at the spiders as each foot moves forward each time it lands on the ground a scratching noise is made by the legs.  I can't help but imagine those sharp legs shredding into me, blood running out and then my limp body on the ground dead, while they play with my body until they consumed me.

Hermione.

I stand there dumb founded, how the hell did I forget to do a barrier around myself? I notice other spiders on the outside trying to get in and disintegrating before my eyes, at least Draco did that before he broke down in front of me.  I point my wand at them and yell a spell out "Arania Exumai!"  Instantly they fly backwards, I say it again and it seems like the more I do the spell the more determined they are to get to me, getting angrier.   "Incendio!" I yell out, again they dodge it easily getting closer to us, one wasn't too lucky and was burning, screeching loud in agony, I watch as it runs towards the barrier as soon as it hits the barrier it grows silent as it disintegrates.

I know I am not supposed to use my powers but I have no choice, there are 16 spiders left and I am sure Hunter would use his powers in this situation.  I place my wand in my pocket, then I focus my concentration on the remaining spiders and thought about uncontrollable heat, I also thought of Draco and I being protected from the flames and power I am about to use. I take in a deep breathe and let it out.  The power raged out of me, controlled but also out of control, we were protected, I watch as something shoots out of the spider, at the same time as my fire which is a bright red colour with blue in it surrounds me and gets the spiders.  Sweat starts falling off my face, as I try to stop the fire I can't, the venom is finally going through my system, lucky the spiders are dead.
