Draco.

Doing my rounds, making sure everyone is where they should be, doing what they are supposed to do.  At first it was hard, I had to get their respect, but after time people got use to me and that made life easier for me, making my job faster.  Since Hermione left she has not been replaced so I have been doing this on my own, in a way I am glad because maybe there is hope that she will come back, I know it's a silly thought but a man can dream.

I'm walking past some students when I hear a name that stops me in my tracks, Hermione.  I quickly turn around and head towards them, I wonder what they are talking about, the more I follow them the more frustrated I am feeling and the more restless I become, the topic had changed as soon as I had started following them. I can't help it, I need to know what it was they said, so I decide to actually ask them what they had been talking about, usually I wouldn't do such a drastic thing but I can not help it.

"Hey you two." I say to them, they turn around to face to me, shocked at who I was, their smiles fading from their faces when they realise it is me.

"We didn't do anything seriously we just  have been walking around talking." The first girl says to me, her brown hair is up in a pony tail, she has freckles over her face and bright green eyes, they hold onto each others hands, shaking a little from fear.  The second girl has red hair to her shoulders her eyes are green as well, I wonder if they are related.

"No, that is not the reason why I called out to you, well it sort of is and isn't." I say quickly trying to make them be less worried about this situation.

"What do you mean by that?" The second girl says.

"Oh something you said got my attention." I say, they both look at each other then back at me.

"Oh do you mean about the part where we were talking about Hermione?" The brown haired girl asks me.  I nod my head at the remark, at least I don't have to get into it, making it easy.

"Yes." I simply say.

"Well rumours have it that Hermione is engaged, and that today she is coming back to finish her studies.  I heard it from my Mum who heard it from her friends daughter Hailey, who is also coming.  In fact a whole group of them.  But unlike us they are not staying here at Hogwarts they are staying at Hunters estate, which is not far from here." The brown hair girl says.

"Yeah and I heard that Hermione has hard out changed, like a whole new transformation, I saw it in a magazine a picture of her and Hunter, might I say a cute couple.  Be interesting the whole gang going here, when they all vowed to never attend Hogwarts, Hunter must love Hermione a lot." The orange haired girl says.

"So she is going to be attending Hogwarts?" I question, my heart skips a little knowing the fact that Hermione will be coming back here, maybe not to me but at least in the same building as me, means more chance of seeing her, and possibly a chance of her changing her mind and coming to me instead of Hunter.

"Of course it's true, we have reliable sources." The brown haired girl said to me, a huge smile crosses my face as reality hits me, I will see Hermione today, and I can not wait to see her.

"Thanks for telling me, you may go now."  I reply, they smile at me and run off together in the opposite direction to me as if I would change my mind and get them in trouble. So Hermione is back, I wonder why she didn't tell me that she was going to come back, I thought I would have been one to have been told by her, obviously I wasn't on her mind like she was on mine, it saddens me in way that I thought was not possible.  Yes I am happy she is here, but now I wonder why she is keeping her coming a secret, if I have to weasel time with her I may just do that to see her, but I guess I will see what happens when I finally see her, and her being here is an actual reality.
