It's been so long without a vacation that I nearly forgot how fun taking one is. Though, I must admit it's beyond weird for me to be gone from the girls all day. Thankfully, I have Jessica who makes sure to send photos and videos throughout the time we're apart.

"You're thinking about the girls, aren't you?"

I sigh, looking over to Joe. "Maybe. I just can't help but miss them."

He chuckles. "They're at the house, babe. We'll see them later."

I sigh again, shrugging. "I know. But we only see them when they're sleeping. It feels weird. Plus, Jess texted earlier saying Willa's super emotional today and has been asking for us more than usual."

"Well, yeah, babe. We've seen her but she hasn't seen us, she's probably getting a little antsy without seeing us for so long."

"Exactly," I tell him, pouting. "I don't want her to think we left them!"

"Okay, okay. Are you saying you want to go home?"

"Yes. But just for the rest of the day. I did great in Tahoe; it was so much fun, and I didn't cave in the entire time. I stayed away from the girls even though they were there. But now we're in Miami and I know we planned to have another few days to ourselves, but I just really miss the girls and I feel like a family afternoon and evening wouldn't hurt."

He chuckles. "We'll head home when we're done eating to spend the day with the girls."

"Thank you," I smile cheesily.

He chuckles, nodding. "I miss them too. I was just hoping you'd be the one to insist on it first."

My jaw drops, shaking my head at him as my lips curve into a smile. "Jerk."

Once we're done eating, the two of us make our way back to the house, walking through the front door and hearing Del's cries instantly, followed by Willa wailing as well.

"Oh shit," Joe sighs.

My brows furrow instantly, walking quicker than before in the direction of the cries, the baby seeing me first and raising her arms while Willa stands in front of Jess who is kneeling on the ground in front of her, seemingly correcting her.

"What in the world is going on?" I ask in a cooing voice, looking at Delphine. "What is da matter?"

"Mama!" Willa cries, tears falling down her cheeks as she begins to walk away from Jess.

"Hi," I tell her, kneeling myself as she hugs me tightly, still crying. "What's the matter? Why are we upset?"

She continues to whine, pointing at Jess.

"Ms. Jess made you upset?" I ask.

She nods, hiccupping.

"What did Ms. Jess do?" I ask, more asking Jess, glancing at her.

"Ms. Jess told Willa that she couldn't have the toy that sissy was playing with, right? And Willa tried to take it anyway, so Ms. Jess pulled you aside so we could talk, and you got upset," Jess explains.

"Is that what happened?" I ask Willa, moving her hair away from her face.

"Yeah," Willa sniffles, nodding.

"Yeah? Well, baby, Ms. Jess is right. You can't take toys from sissy. She's gotta play too, the toys aren't all yours anymore. We talked about that, right?"

She sniffles, starting to cry again.

"Willa," I say gently, trying to get her attention.

I feel a small hand on my free leg and look down to see Delphine trying to pull herself up to me. Taking her hand, I gently help her stand, starting to move her closer.
